I like Dell products, and this is the first time that I have had any delays. I was impressed by their follow-up on my order, and the emails that I received on he change in dates. I also cleed, and had a good response to my questions on my order. It has been delayed twice, and should arrive by July 15, 2009.

I loved the idea of a representative calling me after my purchase to be sure that my laptop has all of the features that I want and need. This gave me confidence that I had selected the right product.
There is a 3 week period between my order and the expected arrival of my laptop. I don't know why it's so long, but it's OK with me as long as I get the sale price and my laptop arrives in good condition and at the expected time.

I love Dell products and support, but this purchase was done through a 3rd party and I also chose the Primier Credit Card option. They will not send me the product until I can contact them via phone, which has been unsuccessful for almost a week due to their offshore support. As soon as I reach offshore they have no idea how to respond and I just hang up. If they don't move back to the US for support -- I will history with DELL. After 18 years of awesome support, I may soon find someone else.

I was surprised that Dell had products other than computers! I received the product a day before the original delivery estimate, so it was 3 days from shipment. However, when I tried to track the delivery, this option was never available. No problem though--Dell is great and the Samsung DVD/VCR I bought is terrific.

attempted to buy the inspiron 15 as the first monday's summer of deals. That was the $449 deal I believe. When I got to the last screen to place the order, I got a dell servor error. I contacted dell to see if the transaction went thru. I was told to wait because it could take 4 days. It didn't go thru and I lost the deal. I end up buying the inspiron 15 a week later but didn't get the same price. I haven't received the product yet - still in production.

I like the Dell cimputers but I do not kow what has happened.,.first time the delviery date was several weeks out..then it was postponed..first the laptop and then the sleeve.. The new dates seem to be onlyestiamted dates on firm dates. I have not called .. would like to know what delays a production of a standard laptop..though they were in stock and ready to be shipped..same thing for the sleeves.. Cannot imagine that each of them are specially made for each customer

I was able to find the product I wanted at a reasonable price. The item arrived much sooner than I expected. I tried to contact iogear since I was having difficulty understanding the directions that came with the product, but their customer service was awful. I ended up getting help from a neighbor to get the item up and working properly. I did not realize until after I had done this that I could have contacted Dell for help. I will check Dell the next time I consider buying pc related items.
