The lid on the pan I purchased shattered into a million pieces upon using it the first time. I was thankful my children were not harmed but the meal I had prepared was ruined and the explosion caused scratches in my cooktop. I have emailed photos and a request for a refund via email to Cookware Essentials but have not yet recieved a response.

shipping was horribly slow. although i understand it is a problem with fedex and not your company i am still disappointed with the service i received. i called to enquire about my shipping and was told there was nothing your company could do because it left in the allotted time. I feel you should have contacted fedex to determine the hold up and given me a discount of somesort because the item was supposed to arrive the 24th of december and did not arrive until the 28th.

I didn't receive a packing slip or invoice in the box. I need to return the item, because it doesn't match the Pepper Grinder I have at home. I've made several calls over the last two weeks for a RAN and haven't received anything yet. The return process is unacceptable. This is taking up way to much of my time and I'm getting very frustrated. As of the time I'm typing this email, I still haven't received the RAN.

My order was placed on 10-29-06 and never shipped until 12-11-06. I did not receive ANY notification that it was on backorder. I phoned the second week of November as I had not received my order but did notice the charge on my credit card (which had been done three times and removed each time thereafter) I was told by a CSR that she did not have any information in regard to the shipping date of my order and would have a manager contact me after he/she arrived at work. I did not receive a phone call. I followed up again and was told that they check to make sure the funds are available to process the order when it arrives at the warehouse, and that the item was on backorder and should arrive to my home during the first week of December. I will not recommend this site nor will I shop here again.

I wish they had stated the warnings about the coating being harmful to birds and small pets in the ad as well as with the already purchased merchandise, even though that doesn't apply to me. My cat weighs 14 pounds and is as bored with my cooking as my mother is, and they pretty much both leave the kitchen when I'm anywhere near the stove!
