My shopping experience was a very pleasant one

My order was not processes due to a change in the CC billing address. I received daily EM traffic from Comnpuvest from a third party confirmation source. I responded t oeach and every item and when I finally called Compuvest I was told that they never recieved a reply from me. This was very untrue. I asked why I was not contacted at either of the numbers I supplied. They said they tried one number once. The upshot is...the computers I was trying to buy for my kids for Christmas were sold and they did not have anything comperable to offer. Nor would they give me a discount on another unit. The customer service agent I spoke to continually talked over me and I feel she was not listening to my concerns. Overall a very frustrating experience. I shop on line for everything, preferring the comfort of my home to the hassle of the malls. I would not recommend shopping here. I went to Overstock.com. after the frustration I encountered at Compuvest. I paid a bit more, got better computers (3) and had a pleasant experience. The service and the selection at Overstock is far better than I experienced at Compuvest. I am sorry that Compuvest didn't try to earn my business. I remain loyal to my E shopping sites.

Be Careful! I ordered a scanner that was defective and I paid to have it shipped back, just asking for an exact exchange. Now I'm being told that there is nothing wrong with the scanner and there may be a re-stocking fee. Why would I send back a product that worked perfectly? I feel that I'm being scammed and I may have to call a lawyer.

The shopping was good but the edge was taken off the benefits due to the additional charges for payment approvals (this should only require payment submittal to the credit card company) and the very high cost of postage.The retail prices on offer were non-exceptional. Hope this helps.

This merchant is excellent in every respect. Their inventory is extensive and they package everything carefully for safe delivery. Shipping is usually done very soon after order receipt and delivery is accomplished in only a few days. I am a repeat user of this e-store and I appreciate their service.

The tracking issue was not CompuVest's problem. Fed Ex wouldn't provide any details after package arrived in Portland, OR...I'm in Boston. ie: couldn't confirm delivery ontime. HOWEVER all is well.

Before I click the payment confirm button of an order, I checked the store rating and what people said about CompuVest. I got bad review so I close the ordering page.
Late of the day, I received email from their customer service asking why I did not finish the order and said "We would appreciate your feedback on this issue. Your opinion will help us to serve our customers with the highest standards." I reply the email and tell them about their review and rating online and hope my review can help them. I never get their response back, not even a reply say "thank you for your help".
If they treat people who tried to help them like this, imaging what if you have problem about the order and want their service.

Once you buy something from CompuVest, they keep your credit card number & address on their website, even after transaction ended. When someone happen to know your pass and login, they can freely use your money w/o additional protection. CompuVest gives   Read full review...

I was pleased at the combination of price and convenience. The order did not arrive as a fast as I expected, but I do not attribute that to the vendor. I would (and will) definitely shop at this vendor again.

Maybe I would shop there again. I ordered the Lexar Sport Jumpdrive and they indicated they had 11 on hand so I ordered 4. Next morning I got a call from a very personable person but was told my order couldn't be processed because the product was not there. An up to date website is a must in order to get me to return for another order. I guess I felt that I didn't get what I ordered even though there seemed to be a large number available.

Compuvest has good selections, good prices, and usually fast shipping. I only dislike their use of styrofoam peanuts. Use of styrofoam packaging should be illegal.

They misrepresented the Thinkpad battery charger as working with T series batteries as well as U and Z series batteries. I got the product which wouldn't work with my battery. The item would have been reasonable priced but the hassles with their return policy were enough that I just sucked it up and will never shop there again.

Only minor problem was that the online tracking of the order only said "Processing..." and never identified that the order was approved, fulfilled or shipped. The customer support was great when it came to identifying the status of the order over the phone.

This store is not to be trusted.
I ordered a brand new Hard drive online. I received a used unit in a plain box that was clearly scratched, the status light did not work, it was missing the software and and the USB transfer cable and the converter had been written on with a black marker. I contacted the people at customer service and sent them photos of the unit to show that it was definitely not new and that I wanted to have a new one delivered. I had to resend the unit, at my cost, only to find out after repeated enquiries that they would refund my purchase price.
These are definitely not reputable people since they obviously tried to pass me a used unit for new, when it did not work, they did not even try to find a new unit for me and excused themselves by crediting my account, without reimbursing me the cost of shipping for my troubles!
I looked at their web site afterwards and they have relisted the Hard Drive they sent me under 'manufacturer refurbished'!!! I would not give more than 20$ for this drive... buyer beware!
