I ordered a media card for a digital camera from Compuvest.com. I received the item, it didn't work so I returned it. They sent it back to me again saying it wasn't their item as there was no serial no on the product. I was very particular to return the item as they stated in their return policy, right down to the identical packaging. The customer service was unhelpful and insistent that I had sent them back a different product than the one I had received originally. They will not refund my money and I am left with a useless product that I cannot return, despite the fact that I followed their purchase and return procedure to the letter. I am very annoyed and I recommend that anyone considering using this company to think again, they may well regret it as I now do. Rubbish Company just stay away from them.

Received wrong printer took an insane amount of wasted time to get a refund and then was still incorrect and then took more wasted time to get it right and have still yet to receive my full refund. Be sure to read all the reviews you can about this company, look online do a search in google for compuvest and read the reviews they are theives and someone needs to put a stop to it. Do not take my word for it just read the reviews yourself before you become a victim like the rest of us.

The $300 nVidia graphics card sold as new arrived with a broken factory seal, and new sticker applied over the old one. Not knowing who opened the magnetic envelope, or why, I returned the card but CompuVest charged a $60 (15%) restocking fee, and failed to refund shipping either way.
So far they have refused to acknowledge any wrong doing, or to make good on the balance of a refund totaling almost $100. |
