The product arrived with a minor dent it appears the box was dropped sometime in shipping on a corner causing a bulge in the cabinet. Since this unit slides under a counter it wouldn't worth repacking and going through the hastle to return the unit for a cosmetic problem. We will not use this merchant again because of a sales add that came with our cooler for the exact product I bought for $50-75 cheaper (can't remeber the exact number) than I paid. We inquired by phone why the price difference we were told that we had a no tax and free shipping deal. The sale add unit didn't so we would have to pay both which would bring the price up to what we paid anyway. This doesn't sound like a sale, free shipping or no tax to me. It sounds like a come on and I paid both anyway! Sort of feel a little scammed.

Everything about this order was so easy. It was shipped out actually earlier than expected, and arrived at my door in excellent condition. Ive had bad experiences with recieving dented or broken appliances in the past from other retailers, so I was thrilled when I opened the box to find it packed tightly and securely in the box to avoid any and all damage during shipping. Not to mention that I was originally giong to buy this product from Amazon, but it ended up being cheaper through Compact Appliances, AND with free shipping! I could not have asked for a better experience!!

this is the second time i have bought 2 ice makers from you.I BOUGHT ONE FOR ME AND THE OTHER MY NEIGHBOR WANTED TO BUY. SO I SOLD HER THE OTHER ONE. THEN I SOLD MINE AND HER HOUSE CLEANING LADY BROKE HERS AND THREW IT AWAY. DIDN'T EVEN TELL HER WHAT SHE DID WITH IT. SHE SHOULD BUY HER ANOTHER ONE I THINK. I have purchased other items from them previously, they were fine. This LG washer/dryer does not function. Not only that but the trucking company that delivered it would not bring it to my home but made my husband drive down our lane with our truck and a dolly and remove the item from the semi, then take it to our house and unload it by himself. Therefore I feel that the $99.00 delivery charge was unjustified since they did not do the work. The delivery guy did nothing to deliver it, my husband did all the work.

Ice maker was installed and worked perfect for 4 days and then started leaking badly because hose behind ice bucket going up to freezing unit was not tighten at factory. I called compact and customer service was very nice and told me to contact Franklin. After I tighten nut on hose ice maker it would not work. I called Franklin and customer service person told me how to reset unit. It now works fine but it caused water damage when it flooded from the connection not be checked at factory. I am now very pleased with ICE Maker. I would recomend Copact and would use them to buy again.

Since the product was a gift to daughter the ship-to and bill-to addresses were different - merchant called to verify the addresses as a fraud protection - I appreciated that extra effort! I have ordered several items from Compact Appliance and have been very happy every time. Looking through the negative reviews, it seems to me that their competitors are writing them to give a bad impression. Some good reviews are countered with a negative that is the exact opposite. Very shady. Example: Look at Jan 11 from dfoster33, then directly above at Jan 16 from notjk. Goes to show you can't count on these ratings to be legit at all. I would suggest calling the store to see for yourself before making a decision. They have good (live) customer service and their site provides more relevant details than most others I've looked at. My last purchase was an outdoor beverage refrigerator that is one of the most well made items I've ever bought. Ordered it by phone and it arrived within 4 days in perfect condition. I had several questions about the product which their sales rep answered without missing a beat. Again, I strongly suggest you take reviews at places like this with a grain of salt.

Ordered a compact refrigerator which arrived with upper rear corner sizeably dented in. Box was not noticeably damaged, so item was probably packed that way in China. CompactAppliance arranged return (at no charge to me) and refunded my money in full. Good customer service, but I fear they have no control of the quality of goods they sell.
