I found your website very easy to use. I did speak to someone on line because my item showed up out of stock after I completed my order. When I went to place my order it showed it was in stock. Your customer service rep informed me it would be in by the end of the week and I would have it in plenty of time for Christmas. He was right..Thank you.

Excellent service. We had our washer delivered first and the box was damaged and a scratch on the washer. We did not accept the merchandise. I emailed Compact immediately and the next day a new washer was sent out, instead of waiting an extra day. I was quite pleased with the response I received on line and in the delivery!

I ordered a Christmas gift from compactappliance.com at the beginning of December. The site said the item would be shipped out in a couple of days, and I was sent an e-mail confirming the order. I assumed that everything would proceed in a timely manner.
A few days before Christmas, I decided to check the status of my order. The site stated the product was still in the warehouse. I tried to call the company, but because it was the weekend, no one was manning the phones. I sent an e-mail but didn't hear anything back. Monday morning I called again and was informed that the product was no longer in stock. Not once did compactappliance contact me, either by phone or e-mail, to let me know there was a problem. I ended up buying the product at another site and paying $35 for overnight shipping. I will never order anything from this site again. And I would suggest that if you do, you keep very close track of your order. |

2) two weeks goes by no delivery, paid for 3-5 day 3) call them 10/22/03, they can't find it 4) called back two days later, they inform me they don't have any more units and will have to wait till november 5) I call two days later to cancel order, come to find out, my order was shipped that day. I fight and fight finally get them to accept the fact they screwed up and will pay for my order return. 6) Called 11/04/03 to figure out way it has not been picked up, they had the nerve to tell me that I would have to pay for the pickup, and that the "ordering of an incorrect appliance is my fault" I had it out with them and discovered that these customer service experts were looking at the wrong order. 7) They apologize and submit the paperwork to get the unit picked up. |

Lied about product being "In Stock"

I paid more at CompactAppliance because they advertise items as "in stock" with 8-10 day shipping. They do not stock the items, they have to order from manufacturer and it will be weeks, not 8-10 days, before I will receive the items. I pointed out that it is not "In Stock" but they still advertise on their website as it being "in stock". This is deliverately misleading and they have lost my trust and my business.
