The purchase was made for my brotherinlaw for my sister for Xmas and it was the first time I used this store but it was very good expericence.

The appliance arrived damaged (a shipping mishap apparently) after being delivered to the wrong address. I don't feel this is the fault of Compact Appliance, but I have been somewhat frustrated in getting a replacement since they have no weekend customer service hours.

I ordered a product routinely over the internet. They called with a problem with the credit card. (Why did they not just e-mail to check on the problem.) I phoned back and clarified the issue. The person taking the info advised he would pass the corrections on as he was the wrong person to correct the record. Currently there has been no fuhter contact, no order conformation,I am not sure if I have purchased an Ice Maker or not.

This is a very questionable company I would not ever do business with again!! Shady at best. They sent me three washing machine all with damage that had occurred prior to shipping. Took repeated calls and over 2 months to get a refund. Am reporting to the BBB

The purchase was find, it was the delivery that caused the chaos. I was called to set up an arrival time and we both agreed for the item to arrive between noon and 5pm on friday the 22th of Oct. By ten of five I had not heard from anyone and I began searching for the item, custom service on my first call did not return the call and did not follow up with the inquiry, then on my second call to customer service, I was told that the 2 trucks for the delivery company had broken down and they didn't know when the item would be delivered. Customer service then gave me the trucking company's phone so that I can track my purchase and only to talk to a unprofessional individual that didn't know when will my item arrive. It finally came in at 9:00 PM!!!! enough said take this survey and frame it so it will not happen to any other customer.

What a nightmare it has been to deal with this company! First unit received was damaged, it took forever to get a replacement, second unit was also damaged. Customer service is non-existent. Their response to request for an undamaged unit was "how are we supposed to make money?". Try satisfying the customer. In a nutshell: inferior goods, slow shipping, and horrible customer service. I would never do business with them again.

The delay had nothing to do with Compact Appliance - was due to UPS not knowing where my store was located. (I own a store w/in a grocery store - UPS driver said he'd have to slow down in the future.) Great company to do business with. ~mth

I purchased a refrigerator from Compact Appliance for my conversion van. It arrived 3 days after I placed my order. They gave me a tracking number when the item was sent so I was able to be there and sign for the delivery. Very pleasant company to deal with.

It was very easy to review a number of portable ice makers, pick one, and have it shipped. The product arrived on time, it works great, and the product matched the website description. If I need another compact appliance, like a dishwasher, I will check out this merchant.

The only complaint i have was with the delivery service. They arrived with this 200 lbs. machine on a semi with no lift gate. Therefore, i had to help this driver lift off the back of the semi that was 4 feet high ( I am 5'5' and weight 115 lbs.). Then the delivery driver was not very helpful at taking a couple of minutes to help me get the machine in the house, so i had to get a friend help me later that evening. It only took us maybe two minute to roll it to the proper door and set in the house. Otherwise compact's service was speedy and easy to use.

Google search engine led me right to this merchant; they had by far the best selection of Wine Refrigeration Units that I was able to find on-line. Their prices were reasonable and on my unit there was no shipping, which made it an even better buy. There was a slight delay in getting the trucking agency to deliver the unit after it arrived near my hometown very quickly, but after we scheduled the drop-off it arrived right on time and in perfect condition. Highly recommend this site.

There was a problem getting them to accept the address on my credit card.. but eventually resolved.. But first I was requested to provide another Credit card #..which I refused to do. I had used the address numerous times before..so I was surprised at the confusion.. Though everyone was quick to point at to me that there was a problem..and I was notified via email..no one thought to tell that the problem was resolved..and I didn't know till I called back.. I just think if you can tell me there is a problem that is severe enough to stop the sell..you can tell me if that problem has been resolved. Thanks Still I'm glad I used compact alliance..even with the problem above..its a minor problem ..but if you're looking for ways for customers to have a better experience..that's how..better communication.. I was upset because the web site showed that the product was expected to ship in 3-5 days. Instead, it was backordered and it took almost an extra week to arrive. In the end, the timing was close to what I expected, but the delay still came as a surprise.

I was sasified with Compact Applicance for the most part, but the shipper they chose was awful. Conway, located in Santa Rosa California was the shipper. They could not deliver the product to me as they only had one size truck which was too large to drive on my street. Ray at Conway asked me to come and pick the dishwasher up from his facility. This was not possible as I only have a very small car. They told me I should rent a truck. They delayed the shippment for over two weeks and told me I would have to pay for storage charges- I was finally able to get Compact Appliance to help me get the product. I would not purchase from Compact Appliance again unless I was assured that they would not use Conway as the shipper.
