Exceedingly disappointed. When ordering a heavy appliance that needs carried up stairs, knowing the exactly delivery date & having delivery estimates be accurate is of the utmost importance. CompactAppliance fails miserably on both counts.
The time to ship estimate was off by 2 days, plus it took another day or two for the website to even be updated that it had actually shipped. They did not automatically provide me a tracking number as their website said.
I had to CompactAppliances email several times to get the correct tracking number to find out where my shipment was. One business day turn around time each time.
Once that hurdle of getting it shipped was over, the shipper they choose was off on their shipping estimate by a week. Again, the shipper never contacted me as promised. Turned out they had my phone number incorrect. I'm not sure if that was their error or CompactApplicance (I double checked CompactAppliance and I had provided the number correctly).
Now, I'm still waiting for the delivery. Between the estimated time to ship and estimated shipping, the whole process should have been between 4-7 business days. Delivery is supposed to be on business day 13 (that is two & half weeks). I'm not looking forward to it. They won't deliver upstairs.
Compact Appliance was not the cheapest option, I went with them because their website and shipping looked professional. Looks are deceiving. Next time, I'm ordering from one of Amazon's recommended merchants.
