I was a little disappointed in the condition of the product when I received it. The door hidge was out of the socket and the temperature display was not attached on one side. I was all set to return it, but I received an additional 10 percent off from the customer service rep. So far the refrigerator is working fine and for the price I can't find anything comparable so I am crossing my fingers that it continues to work well.

The air conditioner was a gift to my Daughter. I thought it would take a while for a/c to get to her. She called and said she has already received it and it was just a few days. I was very surprised. Horrible, horrible experience. Bought an item for $55 and they refused to send it! Not only that, but they attempted to make me pay over $500 more for the item! I sent an email to a customer service representative and called their customer service to never have my calls returned or emails answered. Instead, they eventually returned my money with a blanket statement email denying any liability for completing a transaction.

For a company that claims to offer incredible customer service value to it's customers, they are nearly impossible to get a hold of and want nothing to do with you once they have your money.

I regularly purchase items online, and even when there have been problems, I have never felt this dissatisfied or disrespected by a retailer.

I ordered a portable air conditioning unit from CompactAppliance.com. After placing the order, I found some unfavorable reviews about their customer service on the internet - uh oh. The unit arrived quickly, but it had been damaged in shipment, and was not really what I wanted, after all. "Oh great!", I thought. "Now I'm going to get screwed." However, to my relief, they handled the return very well - no hassles, no run-around, no charges. Maybe they had customer service problems at one time, but my experience was excellent.
