I ordered a computer case from them, and it shipped quickly (ordered Sat, got it on Wed, I think-- free shipping). Then only negative is that their order tracking wasn't up to date, so I didn't know when it was coming-- no email either! Though after I emailed them asking for this info, they quickly replied with updated tracking info.
Other than that there was one minor defect to a clip on the case (doesn't seem to effect functionality). It's not enough for me to return it, so I don't know how they handle that. Overall, they seem to be fine. If they have the lowest price on what you are shopping for, by more than a couple bucks... go for it. |

Do not shop here! It's not worth the five dollar savings. Nine days later and nothing. I ordered a cable modem and the modem was discontinued they sent me a email saying i would have to reorder a different model, did that. Waited for three days no response. I emailed them again asking if anybody was home, Got a response saying item was ordered, emailed them again two days later asking what was up, they then told me i would have to reorder from the site. I canceled order. Wow what a mess.

Tried to do the tracking after a few days but tracking did not show where it was. Stated "shipped" was unable to determin when it would be delivered by UPS?
Was not needed to be home at time of delivery so delivery was found at the door.

Overall was great, product I was looking for at the best price (most important thing), but had too search. I think the site could use a comparsion ability. I would also like to see separations of CPU and RAM. In a perfect MAC MAN world I would like a MAC button to sort just for MAC stuff. You could change nothing and I am sure I will shop with CompSource again.

Terrible shipping - I ordered headphones 2 weeks ago, and since it hadn't arrived yet, I left a message for customer service. They didn't contact me, just sent me a tracking number that clearly shows the package will arrive 1 week from today, and that it was just shipped today! It's like they forgot about my order and would not have shipped it unless I contacted them about it.

One problem: ship tracking number provided always gave message of "no information." When product arrived, I inquired with FedEx as to problem with tracking. They said "Incorrect number" or words to that effect. Bottom line: I never knew when package might arrive.

My only complaint is the lack of communication concerning the use of EBill. I like EBill, but did not anticipate the length of time it would take before my order was shipped.
It would be useful to your customers if you were to provide an anticipated ship date when confirming orders. I did recieve a message telling me that my payment had been recived but that was not really true. Instead it meant that they had been notified that my Epayment had been processed by my bank - and without any other information provided by you I was under the impression that my order would then be shipped. Eventually I contacted service and received a somewhat rude email in return telling me to wait because you had not yet actually received payment. This was frustrating to me and probably to others also.
In all other respects I am very satisified.

Having a 15% restocking fee for a return for refund is completely unacceptable on high dollar purchases. I feel like your company literally stole from me. What that 15% restocking fee ended up being was about $125.00 in my case. ONE HUNDRED - TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS!!!! I consider that to be robbery. It does not cost you $125 to do the paperwork, put the item back on the proverbial "shelf", etc. If it was a $15 restocking fee, then I could understand, but 15% is criminal. I will never shop CompSource again. Unless of course you refund the money you stole from me and change your 15% policy.

It was not shipped for 20 days. I got an e-mail for order cancellation stating, "Cancelled due to stock issues". When I check their web site, item price has increased by $30 and it is still on 4-6 days back order. I ordered a camera in mid November. I understand this is a busy time of year, but just getting a response of any sort from this company is like pulling teeth! Compsource charged my Visa account immediately, then just seemed to disappear. On 12/5, (3 weeks after the order), I inquired about the status, no response. On 12/13 I called and sent emails (it is hard to get a live person on the 800#, you have to leave a message), finally received a email reply from "Jeff" that they expected to ship on 12/16. Nothing was sent. On 12/26 I again phoned and sent an email inquiry, no response. At this point it was well over a month since the order. It would be a little more tolerable if you could get a response from them. A terrible customer service experience!

Purchased Pinnacle speakers on Friday. Received confirmation that day but no tracking #. Tried their site on Monday. No confirmation. Called customer service, talked to Tom Vidovic (office manager ext. 118). He said call back tomorrow to get tracking number. Called back he apologized that it didn't actually leave the warehouse but he would take care of it and e-mail tomorrow with the confirmation. Received e-mail with his apology on Wednesday stating I would receive it by 3pm that day by overnight mail (his expense). Got the speakers at noon. Couldn't be more pleased and impressed.

It was easy to find and order the item I needed. Shipped via ground UPS, so didn't know how long it'd take for sure; I figured about a couple weeks. It arrived a week and a half later. Would definitely purchase from this company again.
