When I finally did get a call back from their rep he was courteous. However several things would cause me to not buy here again. First, he told me their web site states they have items in stock when they don't (said his supplier requires this). Second, they have no tracking system. Third, he said they sent me a email after their order confirmation email which indicated the item was out of stock. I did not receive this email and I don't believe they sent it.
I get the sense that this is a business run out of someone's basement. caveat emptor.

Item was out of stock so had to be back ordered. Item back in stock within a few weeks and shipped right out. Im very pleased with the product, the quality of service the company had at notifying me that it was out of stock, etc. Would definitely buy from again.

The item we ordered was initially on backorder & we were given an expected time frame for when it was due to be shipped. We waited more than a week past that initial time & received no updates from the company. Our requests for updated information have been replied to vaguely. We could find no phone numbers on the company's website in an attempt to speak with someone in person. I don't know that the company would have the same problem with a different product, but I probably won't order from them again.

Contact Number's are not stated on the site you have to do all of your business through e-mail which can take up to 2 days waiting for a response.

I ordered a hard to find high chair from Comfort 1st in the beginning of June--the website gave me no indication that it was actually out of stock. So I waited for two weeks then inquired about it. I was told that it would be available and shipped within a few weeks....which seemed reasonable at the time...and so it went, as I just described, until yesterday--October! No high chair and many promises that it was coming very soon. All updates on my order were prompted by me. Comfort 1st never took the initiative to give me an update of any kind, and remember the website gave no indication that it was out of stock! They strung me along for 4 months (I know, I know...but I wasn't in desperate need, so I hung in there!). In conclusion, they stink. Don't give them your custom.

Worst company I've ever had to deal with online!!! They don't advertise a phone number so it's very hard to get in contact with them. I finally had to dig it up and still haven't been able to get through to them. I have no idea what's going on with my $400 order. I also wanted to expedite the shipping on an item and they informed me a week after I emailed to ask where my package was that they couldn't expedite it. It's been 2 weeks and I need this product stat, but at this point I'm ready to refuse it on delivery.

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FORM THIS STORE!
I ordered a baby carrier on Sept 18. My card was charged on Sept 26. Today is 10/27 and I just got off the phone with their rep and they said I will get it on Monday. It's been over one month!! The weather has gotten cold so I wont' even be able to use the carrier much anymore this year. I am an avid Internet user and have been shopping online for 10 years. I have never experienced or even heard this kind of horrible service. I normally don't have time to write this kind of reviews but I feel so compelled to do so this time. Please think twice before purchase anything there. |

I live in Canada and the normal delivery time for items I've ordered from the US is about 8 - 10 days. My order from Comfort First took 27.
The part that really annoyed me was that instead of sending it to Canada they sent it to New Mexico. They knew there was a problem with the delivery, but didn't bother to contact me. When I contacted them after 12 business days they made ME contact the shipping company to straighten out the problem. Comfort First had to resend my order. It got to me 27 days after I had originally placed the order. They offered no apology for their poor service. This is definately the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. |

I purchased 2 Baby Bjorn potty chairs from this merchant two weeks ago, and only one has been delivered. I contacted the merchant immediately, and was told that the blue potty was on backorder. However, I had received no notice of this, via email, phone call, packing slip, etc. In fact, they had already received payment in full for both items. Several emails were sent, and various answers received: potty on backorder, your order was shipped in full, potty on backorder and and your card was not charged, etc. Each email I sent, I requested contact by phone, and finally received a number where I could contact customer service. I have tried no less than 25 times to call this number, and the number of their parent company, and have not spoken with a person yet. There is no "hold" to wait for a representative, the phone call is terminated after a brief message. This problem has not been resolved yet, and until then, I can not give this company a favorable rating.

The first lamp I received had a dead bulb in it. Within 48 hours of emailing them with regard to this problem, I recieved a reply stating they were sending me a replacement lamp at no charge. The second lamp arrived about a week later and works perfectly.

I have ordered Peg Perego stroller. web site allowed me to order the item. Next day I've received email informing that item is no longer available. My credit has not been charged, however after 12 days this transaction has still been affecting my available credit, since I assume amount of the purchase was reserved. I will update on this later.
Recommendation: to upgrade inventory availability mechanism. It's 3-4 hours of programmer's work. Maybe less. |
