My sister sits at the computer for hours every day. She spends a great deal of her work day sitting in front of the computer and has started getting back aches from doing so. Determined to get her a practical gift along with my normally something she will love but not buy herself birthday gift I asked my best friend (who is a physical therapist) for a recommendation. She said she swears by the Back Pillo and brought one over for me to try. After using it for a few days, I was off to Comfort House (which she also recommended) to look for one for my sister!


WHAT THE SITE IS

I had thought this was going to carry the Back pillo I was sent here for as well as other back items and not much more. WAS I EVER WRONG! This site has A LOT of different items all designed to make your life EASIER! Now, we ALL can use that!!


FINDING WHAT YOU NEED

The products are divided into different categories and there is also a search option. The category choices are ~

Each of these categories has a clickable link that takes you directly to that area. Once you click one, you are taken to that area which has pictures and prices of each of the items in that section. Then you simply click on the ones that interest you and you will go to another page with a larger picture and a nice amount of information on the product. You can add it to your cart from there or continue looking.


MY EXPERIENCE

Finding the back pillo was easy ~ I just put it into the search option and was taken right there! I could have also gotten there by going through the Back Pain Relief Shop link.

When I was taken to the product page, I am shown a picture of the back pillo, given a description of the product, a price, and a list of related (7) products with clickable links. I know this is what I want so I add it to my cart.

I am now taken to a page where I am shown what is in my cart and asked to choose if I want to, check out, keep shopping, register or update my quantities.

Checking out is done at a secure site so there are no worries there. You can review you order before your final submit, which is always nice.

You receive an email verification of your order with all the information on it very quickly. I always print these out "just in case!" Fortunately, that is not the case here, as I the packages seem to be at your doorstep in less than the 7- 10 stated days ~ in five out in the West Coast.


SHIPPING COST

The shipping cost for $19.95 is $4.95 because it is under $20.00. The shipping cost goes up to $5.95 for orders that are $20.01 - $35.00 and then $6.95 for orders $35.01 - $50.00 and then $7.95 for orders $50.01 - $75.00 and so on up to $24.95 for orders over $500.01.

These prices are for US orders with more information for delivery outside of the US at their site.

Note: There is a 6% sales tax add on orders delivered to
New Jersey.

** Historic Newspaper

They are actual and complete archival editions of newspapers from your choice of dates. They come in 5 different choices from the standard ($39.95) 87which comes in a clear vinyl holder to Premiere ($119.95) which comes in a maroon leatherette binder (hand-bound ), personalized with the person's name, newspaper title, and date embossed in gold.

The one I thought was cute was the Baby Binder which comes with a description sheet showing the baby's name, birth place, weight, length, date of birth and a place for photograph for $69.95. While this would be a nice (but pricey) baby gift for a newborn I am thinking of having my siblings and I go in together and buy one for our oldest sister's 50th birthday! She is not taking this upcoming birthday well and as the younger siblings we have felt it necessary to remind her with a daily countdown from her 49th birthday! So, on a kinder note, I think this would be a great gift along with the CUTEST baby picture of her already put in!

I am thinking of getting a couple of these as gifts! These are seat covers that go over your car (or RV, plane etc) seat with an added lumbar/lower back cushioned area. Now this alone would help in long distance traveling but the cool thing is it is heated! This would be great for cold areas and with the automatic climate control, it will stay warm. Just plug it into to your lighter to turn it on.
Comes in black or gray.

I could go on and on, I mean this place has so much stuff! It seems to me, you could find a gift for ANYONE at this site ~ from a body fat analyzer, to a juicer, to bark free dog trainers, to satin sheets, to an ice cream marker to any of the cool items I mentioned above. Just think about anyones habits, hobbies or needs and you're sure to find something to match them here!


WHAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE

There was one thing I did actually look for that I couldn't find and that was walking sticks. They did carry one cane and a few canes that help you get up from a chair but no walking sticks.

We use walking sticks on long hikes and when we were backpacking in Europe for 4 months, we had them with us all the time. We have a large collection of them as we have tried to bring a unique one or two home with us whenever we travel. We brought home four when we went down to Jamaica and we were able to carry them on board but we were NOT allowed to do that coming back from London or Paris after 9/11, at one I was able to put them in with checked luggage and the other we were forced to mail them home! Anyway, I am always on the lookout for new ones and was thinking for sure they would carry them here no. :o(

I REALLY likes the amount and diversity of products Comfort Home offers! They have a very user friendly website which is easy to navigate. The only negative thing I can say is that the web site design could use some jazzing up ~it is plain but, that may be the look they were after?

I would suggest (as always) to check prices to make sure you are getting the best deal. Keep in mind they have a price match policy so use it to ensure you are getting the best possible price!

I WOULD and will, recommend Comfort House to everyone!
