WORST WORST WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!  From the ordering process to the HORRIBLY RUDE customer service to the LATE delivery of the items, this was absolutely the worst online shopping experience I have ever had in over 10 years of online shopping.  I ordered some items from their site on a weekend, knowing that their computer/order/shipping systems would recognize that order to have been placed on a Monday, prior to 3 pm, meaning the items would ship Monday.  Not a problem.  I received email confirmation of the order immediately and the next day, Monday, received email confirmation of the shipment of the items as expected.  I requested overnite delivery so I would have the items on that Tuesday, which was confirmed in both emails.  The shipment notification email even confirmed the items would be delivered that Tuesday.  Items never arrived.  I called their horrible customer service department and ended up, over the course of an hour, speaking to the three most hateful and rudest people on the planet.  They adamently confirmed the items were shipped on Monday and it was Fed Ex's fault I did not have the products.  When I spoke to Fed Ex, and confirmed tracking online, the items were not even shipped from Circuit City until TUESDAY.  The rude customer service reps continued to state they were shipped Monday until I finally conferenced one of them in with the Fed Ex rep who denied that statement and said the items were not shipped until Tuesday for Wedsnesday delivery.  The CC rep then tried to state the items were shipped from a vendor and they could not control when they left their warehouse.  What is the point in paying $30 for overnite shipping when CC is not going to do their part and get the items out the door?  Why Circuit City cannot admit their mistake, I will never know.  I do know I will never frequent their site or stores ever again, and would recommend to anyone listening to never shop there.  No wonder they are going out of business.  With the poor standards they exhibit, it's obviously a problem for a lot of consumers.  I do most of my shopping online.  Have always thought it to be a convenient and hassle free way to get gifts for friends and family.  If this were the first time I had shopping online with any store, I would never again shop online.  Luckily I have had wonderful and pleasant experiences with other online retailers, so this horrible experience with CircuitCity.com will not cause me to abandon online shopping completely - only with Circuit City.  As a matter of fact, it was so bad, customer service and all, I will not only NEVER shop their website again, I will never browse their site nor will I never step foot in any of their stores ever again.
