I tried to order 2 copies of the same DVD. One for myself and one for a gift. Their policy is that they "cannot" sell in quantity. I was ordering enough so I would not have to pay shipping and was told that since I could not order 2 of the same thing, I would have to make out 2 seperate orders and pay shipping on both. They have the same policy for CD's, if you want 2 copies of the same CD, you have to do 2 orders. Nix to that. Went somewhere else and got my 2 copies and no shipping. Guess Circuit city does not need my business. It was not that those 2 DVD's were all I was ordering, I had a couple other DVD's that I was ordering also. I called and talked to several people and was told that, that was their policy. Anything over one is considered buying in quantity and they do not sell DVD's or CD's in quantity. I cannot understand the logic that Circuit City is using, don't they know that they are losing business and money by having such a silly rule. I understand if someone wanted to buy 10 copies of a single DVD but I only wanted 2. What is with this store. No wonder people go to other places. I know I would not even consider checking their store on line again, nor would I bother going to their B&M store. There are so many other stores that would much more appreciate my business and those are the stores that I will go to. I think Circuit City needs to rethink their policies and maybe join the real world.
