I ordered a Haier RTC1700 Toaster Oven online. They charged my credit card the same day. They never shipped my toaster oven. Two weeks later they saw their error when I called Customer support, but would do nothing about it until a "Case Worker" looked into the matter. To make a long story short... nine telephone calls to Customer Service later, two emails to their corporate offices and several calls and emails to FedEx and I still have no resolution to this missed order a month later.
Circuit City has the WORST Customer Service Department of any company I have ever dealt with. People have lied to me, their data entry is missing details, they have no structure to advance your concern to someone who can actually do something about the problem... in short there is no "service" to it at all.
As of this writing a month later, I have no product, my credit card is still charged and I can't tell you when this nightmare with Circuit City will end. Philip Schoonover, CEO - are you listening? You are running a sinking ship there buddy!
If you are planning to buy a product from Circuit City online, my recommendation would be to think twice before buying into their "SimpliCity Guaranteed" logo on their web page. You too could find yourself in a nighmarish situation like the one I'm stuck in at the present.
