Circuit City.com is difficult to deal with and did not deliver what they promised.

I have 2 x shopped at circuitcity.com and have been disappointed and inconvenienced both times. I recently bought a camera through Circuitcity.com and while on the phone with I confirmed the details of the transaction including the price. When the receipt was emailed to me a few minutes after the phone order was completed, the price had jumped up and some firedog service that I had not ordered had been tacked onto my bill and charged to my credit card without my authorization. Instead of a total of approx $170, the total was over $300. Note that when I made additional calls, I found out that the sale price turned out to be a misprint. I am not sure why they did not tell me this when I was placing the order as I specifically asked for a confirmation of the price as it was $40-50 less than any other ad. Apparently the outsourced order takers are trained to 'smile' and always say yes whether they understand a question or not. After the order taker confirmed the price, I gave the credit card info.
To attempt to remedy this issue, I called back to get it corrected and they told me on the phone that they were not authorized to fix this. They told me that I should go over to the store to try to get the price corrected. I called again and asked for a manager and this time was connected to an US employee who was polite and more understandable but also unable to help me. I cancelled the order and eventually received a refund and bought the camera elsewhere.
