Horrible, horrible company. Purchased a 42 Sharp Aquos television as well as the extended warranty in Jan.2007. Started noticing a black line running down the middle of the television. Called for service the week of Thanksgiving. Was given a scheduled service appt. The service company called to reschedule for 12/5. They called again to reschedule again but I told them no. They sent a rep out who took a picture of the television with his camera phone and said he would e-mail it to Sharp. The part to fix it should be in 5 business days. When we did not hear from them by 12/21 we called Circuit City again. They called Marks Service Pro who said they did not get the part. We called Sharp ourselves who said they never got a request from Marks Service Pro. Told us to e-mail them the pictures which we did. Sharp said it could not be fixed but offered us a refurbished TV under their warranty. We paid $2K for the TV and do not want a refurbished TV. Went back to Circuit City and have been fighting with them ever since to get a new TV. We have gotten nothing but the runaround and the latest is they are going to give us a $1200 store credit for a new TV. We paid $2000. They are misleading when they tell you that if the TV can't be fixed they will give you a new one if you buy their warranty. They don't tell you they will give you a TV for the same price as the one you originally bought. Will NEVER NEVER buy another thing from them. Buyer beware when purchasing extended warranties. Am going to file complaint with out State Attorney General. Something has to be done about these extended warranties.
