When I initially ordered I tried to cancel right after online and it didn't work. So I called and they said they could not cancel the order because it was getting ready to be shipped. I order a bed head straightener and curler on the 9th and it said it would have an expected ship date of the 11th. I called them on the 14th to find out the order status. It turns out the items were out of stock, they said I would receive a refund within 3 to 5 days. I did not receive an email telling me that the items were out of stock nor did I receive an email informing me that I would receive a refund. I don't know why they would lie and say the order is getting ready to be shipped when later on they ended up cancelling the order because it was out of stock. Also most companies only charge you the day the items are shipped I was charged and they did not even ship the item. I expected more from this company since it is a popular one and has ads on tv. If I get the refund within the 3 to 5 day period, then my experience shopping with circuit city will only be an inconvenient one. Now I will have to research another place to buy the items. If you choose to shop here make sure you call to confirm that the item you want is in fact in stock. Also make sure you really want the item because there is not a guaranteed that you will be able to cancel it.
