Chadwick's

 I had received some copies of the catalogs from Chadwick's  about 10 years ago (when I was late 20's-early 30's), but I didn't like most. I did not mean they were bad taste, I just did not like the styles as if they were for happy housewives, or country style. (I prefered the style for City women like).  I bought sweaters in plain style once, and never bought anything again until recently I received their catalog.

 10 years later, it seemed better. Chadwick's seems to have different styles now.  Bit more sophisticated now, and I found something I wanted to try, so I decided to be their customer again 10 years later.
But.. so far, I have ordered 4 items and kept only one item. The sweater dress  I  liked in the catalog or online had little surprise I couldn't see in catalog or online, and that looked so bad, (it was the style of back of the neck),  the size, color was perfect, but I had to return it because back of the neck's funny design really was ugly, and 2 pairs of shoes, they also had surprises that I could not see in catalog or online. One had seam unexpectedly (which I did not see in catalog or online), and the other pair had funny shaped sole which also Chadwick did not show in their catalog or online as detail.
The only item I have kept is a layered look sweater (neck part of the cotton shirt attached to the V-neck sweater). I thought it was convenient but did not look so good on me actually, so I probably won't wear it so often even though I have kept it.

 Then I have been still receiving their catalog and daily promotion e-mail, but I probably won't buy from the store for the next 10 years. 
 
 Chadwick's is one of the Brylane group store like Metrostyle, but price more than Metrostyle and less discont offer also. Order process and shipment process is slow.(Metrostyle do process faster than before now, but not Chadwick's).

 I don't tell anyone to avoid this store, if you like the Chadwick style and can accept surprising details that you didn't see in catalog or online before order, and slow delivery, you can shop. But the store is still not for me.
