I purchased the Barbie Celebration Deluxe birthday package for my daughter's 7th birthday. I recieved the package in a timely manner, however, they didn't take my payment for a long while, for reasons unknown. It caused a great deal of difficulty for my family, as we had outstanding bills that could not clear. Long story short, we werent' happy that they didn't cash their payment in a timely manner.

The package arrived in time for the party, but was missing some of the 'gift bag' items that were listed in my package inventory. Those party favors aren't exactly cheap, and I was upset that they didn't arrive as promised. I called and they said they would mail replacements, but they didn't arrive in time for the party, and weren't the items promised besides.

And now, months after the birthday party, I find myself the recipient of Victoria Secret catalogs. My 7 year old daughter checks the mail and brought it in telling me how immodest the girl on the cover was. (She wasn't wearing anything but underwear, with her arms crossed over her ample chest.) I was upset that my daughter was exposed to what I consider soft porn, so I called Victoria Secret to complain and ask how I got on the mailing list.

Turns out, Birthday Express sold them my information. They consider Victoria Secret a "reputable company" whom I might find interest in their products. I don't know what they based their assumption on, I didn't purchase skimpy underwear I purchased little girls' birthday items. I called Birthday Express, and they removed my information from their system. I have also removed my information from the mailing list for Victoria Secret as well.

I was exremely unhappy overall with my experience. I spent well over 100 dollars with these people, didn't get what I expected and what was promised, and then ended up with my information sold to companies that I never have and never will solicit.

I do not recommend Birthday Express to anyone who wants to keep their personal information (such as name and address) private. I do not recomment Birthday Express to anyone who wishes to recieve the items they have paid so much money for, either.
