Good prices, rapid shipping (and free if over $50). I wanted a Trangia alcohol burner, only, without any other accessories. CampSaver is one of the few places that has it, and at a very reasonable price. Ground shipping was faster than I expected.

The Campsaver web site was acting up the evening I tried to order two Thermarest sleeping pads, but I successfully placed my order the next day. They have the products and brands I want and at good prices, so in spite of a frustrating shopping experience I will be back.

Ordered my items, I emailed them ahead of time for shipping rate. Now I'm sitting here, creit card charged and I can not get a response from them in regads to the status of my order. So I have paid and heard nothing since. great customer service, would I shop here again? no way in the world!!!

Unfortunately, the only postage service available to international customers from africa to campsaver, is UPS which makes ordering from them prohibitivly expensive.

Stuff sac purchase was fine. I tried to take advantage of a 1st time buyer offer on the Mattress Pad. I was supposed to receive a code for a discount, didn't get it, emailed Campsaver to inquire about the code, but did not get any response. As the discount expired, I missed out on the deal because they didn't respond to my inquiry & I bought the mattress pad elsewhere.

I ordered 5 items and they said that all were in stock and ready to ship.  A week later I get an email that 1 item isnt in stock.  So I remove the item from the order and tell them to ship the rest of the order. A week later I email them and they send me an email stating that they will resend the order to the warehouse and possibly send the order today.  I cancelled all my business with them.  Total Amateurs.   Avoid at all costs unless you like to wait weeks for stuff.

Charging shipping fees on orders to Alaska that would qualify for free shipping in the rest of the USA is uncalled for. It does not cost any extra if you ship it in a flate-rate box, and I was not even given shipping options, only the 5-7 buisness days option.

I am disappointed in the customer service that I received. I need to exchange this item and I emailed someone for assistance. After waiting for a few days I still heard no response and decided to call, in hopes of better service. When I called I was told that he was responding to my email and would let me know what to do with my item. After waiting another 5 or 6 days I have still not heard back. No one has attempted to assist me with what to do. I feel that this is unacceptable after spending $100 on one item.

We had a very positive experience with campsaver, unlike some of the other reviews on this site.  I was dubious because of some of the negative feedback but that anxiety proved unfounded.  We found the tent we wanted and at a very decent price.  We were placing an international order to the UK and when I phoned they were very helpful about figuring out the shipping charges (for a 5 lb package about $43).  They stated delivery would be 5-10 business days and it arrived in 7, so shipping time was also accurate.  The tent is wicked, and we can't wait to use it.  The guys in customer service were always helpful when we called.  But be warned: if you live in the UK you have to pay approx. 12% VAT on purchases of more than £100 upon delivery.  This is not the fault of campsaver - it's the annoying british gov't.  It does add to the final price, though, so it's something to keep in mind.
