WARNING!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!  We ordered and received a damaged printer in March 2011.  After 3 weeks we got authorization to return and a promise of another printer ASAP.  We returned printer.  Nothing.  After another 2 weeks and numerous emails they finally acknowledged receipt and were to ship replacement.  Another 16 business days and nothing.  After numerous emails we were told they were issuing a full credit for the $668 because they could not fulfill order.  It is now 4 months from initial purchase.  No printer, no refund, no further responses to email.  We are a non-profit serving sexual assault victims.  This was a HUGE amount of money for us to lose.  DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE.  Instead of saving $30, we lost $668.

On a zero to ten scale, I rate CCC as  nada, zilch,  nil.  They charge your card immediately, but DO NOT deliver.  CCC's greatest asset is a keen penchant for BS.  They are also very adept at misinformation, disinformation, blatant fabrication(s) and elusiveness. How long does it take to find out whom the distributor is  and  what/where the tracking information is?  What type of business fails to answer emails and voice mails?  Over 5 weeks after my "purchase", I began some research about CCC and discovered numerous negative reviews.  If only I had done that research before being subjected to MegaBS rivalled only by Cheney, Rumsfield, "W" and Scooter!   Thankfully, my bank is initiating a fraud claim.  Also, my bank informed me that CCC has many, many clains pending and that the Feds are involved related to interstate violations

How I wish I had been smart enough to look these people up BEFORE I got suckered in by the low price and free shipping!!  My experience has been the same as so many others.  I ordered two monitors from them, my credit card was charged the same day, I received an email stating that I woould receive my order 5-8 days later......it's been a month and still nothing.  I have called and called and called--when they do bother to answer the phone, which was about twice out of fifty calls, it's nothing but a runaround.  They blamed the lack of shipping on the manufacturer (in this case, Viewsonic), so I called the factory where they informed me that they had plenty of stock on this monitor but had never heard of California Computer, who claims to be one of their authorized resellers!  I have already turned them in to my credit card company and intend to do as suggested by other reviewers and contact ic3.gov and hopefully something will be done about these shysters!!!

SCAM!!!
They are horrible...JVO/John/Sales/Customer service... they are horrible.. I feel like it's a scam...I Ordered a PC and 4 four monitors on 12/7/2010. They changed my card in full same day. everytime I called to get order status they kept promising it would be shipped at the end of the day. Got sick of their lies never shipped and never received...so I cancelled on 12/22/2010 - I sent over many emails and called over 10 times to get the refund and all i heard was "sorry about the inconvenience".. "sent it to the manager".."resent it..".. "let me talk to the billing manager" they are really aweful and now after reading the reviews.. It really sounds like a big scam... I have filed a complaint with http://www.ic3.gov
please if you have any simliar complaint please write to the ic3.gov, hopefully sometime the FBI will invistagate them.

I ordered a Samsung laser AIOfor $398.00.  They charged my card immediately.  They never shipped the printer.  Did not answer phone or return calls.  E-mails kept promising "next week"  Tried to add a $78 shipping charge a week after sale, and when I did not agree they offered to cancel my order for a 5% fee.
They are a dishonest company.  Avoid them.  They take your money and give you nothing in return.

I got my package a day earlier than expected. The Notebook I purchased was packaged well, came in one piece and at a great price. They did ask if I wanted the additional warranty and although I origianaly declined, they made me an offer I could not refuse, so I took it. would definately shop here again if the chance ever arises.

I recently ordered a Toshiba laptop from California Computer.  They had the lowest price I could find at the time.

Customer service rep "Ade" kept me informed via daily emails of the progress of my order.  I received the laptop within a few days of placing the order.

I see a lot of negative reviews, but MY experience with California Computers was completely positive. I will order from them again, and I will recommend them to my friends.

Placing the order was easy , the website was a littile slow but not a big deal . Free ground shipping (wow) , got a phone call from security department to verify the order and that was all , I got the order (ipaq 210) in 4 days.Will give you my rest business in future for sure.

Ordered a Apple G4 Powerbook laptop. Called first with a couple warranty questions, response was good. Ordered online easily. They did call the next day to verify I had placed the order and address etc. No upsales pitch just verifying me and my address which I appreciate for security reasons. Ordered late Thursday afternoon, shipped Friday, recvd Tues AM. Very fast delivery and free shipping. Saved about $300 on computer price and another $75-200 on extended warranty. (Macs are expensive to fix)

The shopping.com website link points you to the wrong, overpriced memory module and these guys won't exchange even though it is unopened!

Be very cautious about this vendor. Many other vendors offer quality memory at lower prices and do not mislead!

I have been an online shopper for a long time, and the service this company offers is the WOREST I've ever had. Was shipped a defective product and was told I needed to pay for the return shipping. On top of the fact I had to wait 4 days for a response and was ONLY offered an exchange. The product was a calculator that was time sensative for me to complete homework assignments with. The company knowingly sells defective prodcuts. Had to contact my credit card company to reverse the charge.

the pricing on Dealtime don't match their web site pricing, I needed a Compaq DLT at 1305 how they advertised, called them and they told me it is 1479, I don't believe this is the right why to manipulate customers with wrong advertising.

I called to get information regarding LCD projectors, expecting to be told to find it online. Instead, a courteous sales gentleman took the time to compare several models and help me locate the one that was best for me. I now own an Infocus projector that I love, and plan to come back to California Computers for more.

Excellent, no-hassle internet order on recent transaction. Ordered IBM Thinkpad battery 19 Oct and received 25 Oct. Effortless online ordering, no phone calls, price + shipping clearly indicating during order process...no hidden charges. Exactly what I expect when ordering online.
