I highly recommend buying from Cafe Press. I thought they made a mistake on my order (wrong color) and stated that I wanted to return the product to them, but didn't want to pay to ship it back. I stated that if I had to do that then I would just take a refund. They discovered that the mistake was mine but offered to let me keep the product that was the wrong color, and they would ship me out one in the right color. Both arrived very quickly. A word of warning, double check your color. I tried to but it just said "dark t-shirt". Also, order a size up as the sizes tend to run a bit small.

I received a shirt from Cafe Press as a gift a few years ago and was happy with the quality.  This year, I ordered a shirt as a gift for someone else.  It arrived quickly, but I was not happy with the quality of this one.  I contacted customer service, and they were wonderful.  The response time was quick, and they resolved my issue well.

Terrible quality.
We bought a clock. It loses time, the window left a gap between the glass and the frame, and there were even finger prints inside the clock window that we could not clean without disassembling the clock.
The background was just printed and stuck in there, and it was not even flat. It was as though the cut-out didn't fit properly so they just squished it in, regardless of whether it looked unsightly (which it did).
Overall, absolutely disgusted with the quality of their merchandise. Will not purchase from here again.

I cannot comment on the pjs I ordered yet as I am still waiting for them. Cafepress really need to keep on top of their shipping company, which was DHL now Yodel. The postage charged for one light item 5.50 should mean a good speedy service, but the customer service at Cafepress is lacking and the courier service is terrible. Lets hope that if I ever get the pjs (which were a b'day present for my daughter in law) that they are good standard. Cant imagine how long it will take to get a refund.....................

I have ordered many things from Cafepress and have had no problems with anything.  Several items were slightly damaged in one order and they quickly replaced them, no cost to me. Shipping has been fast and the over all quality is good.  I don't hesitate to order from them again and again.

When ordering online from Cafepress I made a mistake on the sizing of a shirt.  I realized my error the day after the order had shipped, so I called the customer service line to see what I could do. I was amazed at the wonderful service I received. They not only immediately sent out the correct size, they sent it to me premium shipping at no extra charge. The customer service representative who helped me absolutely made my day. I began the phone call in complete distress and ended it with the biggest smile on my face. Thank you just didn’t seem like enough. These shirts will be 'announcing' our pregnancy to friends and family and the story that I will be able to tell about the phenomenal service I received will be told to all. I would recommend Cafepress to everyone after this experience. Thank you for showing me there ARE still businesses that care solely about their customers!

I bought a $75.00 framed photo of owls and thought the colors were pretty dull but liked the picture so I kept it.  When water got inside the lower corner I took the frame apart to dry the image and discovered that the "photo" wasn't printed on photo paper at all, but was instead printed in plain old (very thin by the way) copy paper.  No wonder the colors were crummy!  I wrote customer service and asked for a real photographic print but was offered only a 20% off coupon so that I could give them more money to rip me off a second time.  DO NOT purchase framed images from them! The product is not what they represent it to be.

Shoddy Product

I bought a Sutter Brown canvas tote bag from Cafe Press. It got dirty so I washed it and it came apart at all the seams. It was made from a nice canvas material and was great until it was washed. I own other canvas tote bags (not from Cafe Press) and they wash up nicely without any problem. This was just a shoddily made product. Now, I wouldn't trust the workmanship on any of their products.

I placed an order with Cafepress last month worth over $110.  Not only has my parcel not arrived, but I have emailed them 10 times telling them I haven't received it, but each email has gone ignored and unanswered.
I was about to place another order, but won't do that now...I don't trust them and their extremely poor customer service.
I have no choice put to report them to Fair Trading and my bank will refund the money and then get it back from Cafepress.
I won't be ordering from them ever again...I'll go elsewhere.
If no satisfaction is received by a simple return email, after emailing them myself everyday...I'll take legal action as well.
DO NOT order from this place if you want your goods.
Cafepress is it so hard to be so unprofessional and not respond to at least one email out of the ten I have sent you. Very unprofessional, you have certainly lost a customer here, and I shall tell everyone I know not to bother.

Slow

Shipping extremely slow with no follow-up.  I ordered something on 7/6/11 and didn't recieve it until 7/22/11, which was after the estimated "receive by" date.  When contacting customer service to find out why, I got no explaination except that my order had shipped the day after I contacted customer service. I was unable to give the gift on time due to the lack of efficiency of this company.  If you are looking to buy a gift and want to give it on time, don't use this company!

Best customer service I have experienced - ever.

I was completely satisfied with CafePress' delivery time and product - it was exactly as described.  Then, I had to ask for a refund (after I had already re-purchased what my daughter really wanted) and boy, was I in for a treat! 

These guys are unbelieveably cooperative and generous!  They actually credited my account with the refund before they charged me for my second order - and get this - the refund was requested four days after my second order!  Excellant customer service - I always knew where I stood with them because they communicated so quickly and efficiently by email.

I don't think I'll ever order anything that they carry from anyone else but them - no matter what the cost!

 We ordered a hat and shirt for Father's day. Both arrived in time, but the hat was not printed well. They were very nice about it, but they acted like they were doing me a favor when they said they would redo and reship the hat at no extra cost to me. A few days later, another shirt arrived. Now we have 2 of the same shirts, no hats. Another email later, they would again redo and ship the hat at no extra costs (gee, thanks- we paid to get it right the first time). Got the hat in time for Father's Day but again, it was printed very poorly. I don't believe anyone is checking the quality of their products before being shipped. Not likely to order with them again, which is a shame because they do have cute stuff.

I just received an order placed with Cafe Press, the items were beautiful however I ordered the wrong size. I called customer service and explained to get to information to exchange the items. The representative was very helpful and stated that they did not want me to incur any added expense and would send me the larger size for each of my items out at no charge to me. I could keep the wrong size items and give them as gifts. This is unbelievable, I would never believe any company would be so wonderful as to send me the correct sizes for free after the mistake was mine. I will be a loyal customer and pass the word of a wonderful company and experience.

Cheap Quality

I ordered a PCLinuxOS "Golf Shirt" it was $20.00 and $5.00 Shipping.
The logo was a cheap stamp on Logo. The shirt is paper thin, you can see though it! I can return it for less shipping costs. That's over half the cost if I pay to send it back!

Walmart has better quality "Golf Shirts" for $4.99.
I'll never buy from them again.

I bought a shirt from Cafe press it cost me £24, the one with dempsey on it. It was the worse thing i have ever bought on line, the whole front of the shirt was covered in glue from the press,the quality of the shirt was very poor. How anybody can put this piece of rubbish in a bag and send it to anyone is beyond me, I was conned out of my money. If you sent this shirt to a charity shop the would throw it straight in the bin. So don't buy from them

I ordered 2 different shirts and were satisfied with what I got.  The items were received quickly.  My only complaint is the email spam blasting that they send after buying something.  Even Amazon isn't this bad! In any case, make sure you don't use an everyday email address, otherwise I am quite a satisfied customer.

Terrible customer service

I found this store to have terrible customer service.

I ordered a poster from CafePress that was listed on the website as being 16 by 20.  The poster turned out to be about 13 1/4 by 19 1/2, and needed a custom frame.  After many, many emails back and forth, they finally told me that the poster could be "up to 16 by 20, but it might be smaller."  Luckily they don't sell shoes!  Then they crazily told me that they wanted me to be 100% satisfied, so they would refund $125 to my credit card because of the customs charge. (Huh?) I had only paid $23.  Of course I never got any credit at all.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience with CafePress.  Watch out if you ever order a poster from them.

Exceeded expectations

I ordered a T-shirt 4 working days ago, to be shipped from the USA to the UK. It arrived much more quickly than anticipated and is perfect!  We could not have got the item elsewhere (a Star Trek babygro!), and I was wary of ordering from overseas, but the shipping cost was reasonable and the company exceeded expectations overall. I would not hesitate to order again.

I paid extra $ for shipping only to be told it would take over twice as long as what I paid for to get the items. I called the customer service, to be told that I had to pay them more to process the order faster. I asked for a supervisor, and was told one would call me, and I never heard from them again. The company has good merchandise, but it is a rip-off. I will NEVER use this company again.

The t-shirt I ordered arrived on time and the printing looked great.  However, although I ordered one size up (the site advises that you do so for American Apparel brand shirts) the shirt was still too small.  I filled out the form online to request to be contacted about returning the shirt for a smaller size.  I admit that the process for finding the form to request a return/exchange took some digging around.  The next day I got an email saying that not only would they print and ship me a new (larger) shirt free of charge, but that I could also keep the original shirt. 

So I now have two shirts for the price of shipping and printing only one!

It's a cool website but I spent FOREVER making this one design and it said it was saved but then it didn't save. So I made the mistake of trying to make it again but it didn't save either. So I'm really annoyed. Plus the website it kind of slow and the design space is very limited.

I just bought a few children's clothing products from CafePress for Xmas. The delivery was very fast as we live in Canada. The staff was very helpful when I ordered the items and when I inquired about a post office tracking number. This was my first purchase from this company. I thought the items were a little bit on the expensive side, but I'm happy with the quality of the product, and the nice clear images on the clothes.

Shipment was surprisingly fast at this busy time of year. The clock even included a battery! I loved the clock, but it did not keep time. Went online, filled out form to that effect. They sent a replacement at no charge, immediately. Absolutely wonderful customer service, speed, and quality of materials (after replacement). I highly recommend them:

I accidently ordered two hats instead of one. I called Cafe Press to ask about a return.  They told me to keep the extra hat and that they would refund me the cost.  The extra charge was refunded in a matter of minutes.  This was my second experience with Cafe Press.  The products are as described and there is an excellent variety.  Items are shipped quickly. Notwithstanding the selection of products, customer service is superb.  And that is one very strong reason for shopping at Cafe Press.

Felt ripped off

After finishing the purchase of an item on CafeExpress, I was pleasantly surprised by a
bold coupon offer. Buy another item at a reduced price. I was excited!

I noticed an asterick hinting at some fine print, but the details were no where to be found
on that page.

After following the four simple instructions, I bought another item and proceeded to pay. After
applying the coupon, I noticed the total didn't change, but was, instead, greeted with some bold
text suggesting that I didn't follow the rules ("Buy an item for $20 or more"). In fact, I did following
the instruction to the letter, even took a screen print to be sure.

What was the problem? The coupon CafeExpress was showing so prominently, expired several
weeks ago.

Fine print you can't locate? Boldly showing an offer using an expired coupon? Displaying
a vague, or just plain false, error message? Smells crooked to me.

I felt ripped off. I will avoid CafePress.com at all costs starting now.

I'm speechless!

I just received my first order from cafe press.......... while it arrived in a timely fashion, just over one week, I was HUGELY disappointed in the quality of product that they sell!
The shirts I received are of the poorest quality, when I hold them up I can see right through them, I would have never purchased a shirt like this had I seen it in person.
The logos on the shirts are iron on transfers! I don't expect they will last long before they start to peel off the shirts. I have done as good a job ironing on logos from my own printer! But I at least put them on better quality shirts.
Good thing my first purchase was a small order, now that I've seen the poor quality I will NOT be placing my second order and will NEVER use this service again!
This is one of the times that you DON'T get what you paid for. The merchandise is overpriced, about 60% over priced, buy at your own risk!

I purchased mugs for my son's chess club coaches.  They arrived today.  THe words were blurry and slightly slanted.  Looks like something from the dollar store excpet I paid $26!  I wish I had done this sooner.  Now I dont' have enough time to order a different gfit for the coaches before the end of the season party.

Very POOR product quality (e.g., photo mug image was printed completely black and the photo was not visible, tote bag had stains).

Shipping process POOR - photo mug poorly wrapped and therefore broke during shipping process.
