Had difficulty in that ordered quantity 6 and order was confirmed but then later CSN cancelled one light. After several phone calls, were able to get the issue satisfactorily resolved but for a while CSN simply backed out on their confirmation. 5 of the items was not any good as 6 were needed to complete the project.

The selection and pricing on this site are excellent. However, the tracking system needs refinement--when I followed my tracking number I saw that my order had been delivered and signed for by someone I didn't know and in a completely different country. When I called CSN I was very helpfully told that this was an interim step in their delivery process and that my order would then be shipped on from that location, but this would have been good information to know in advance, and there was no further tracking available to show the progress of the item from that location to my home. Aside from this issue I was completely satisfied with the entire transaction.

CNS has a large selection of lamps. However, the one lamp we wanted was no longer available. I thought it took too long for them to notify us of that information so we could continue our search for the product. I, however, will continue to shop at their several sites.

One chandelier is on backorder but I was not notified until I questioned UPS. They said that they delivered 2 packages. but only one arrived. After contacting the lighting company by e-mail they said it was on backorder. If I had been notified earlier about it being on backorder I wouldn't have had to bother UPS.

I have purchased three times from CSN ... each time, products were excellent, shipping was immediate, could NOT ask for more in a purchasing experience. The cedar used in the products is totally top-notch ... very very simple to assemble (with good mallet!). My front deck looks amazing and I could NOT be more pleased. I had seen VERY SIMILAR products from another reputable company but the shipping charges were bizarre. There were NO shipping charges on my large rockers and table!!!!

Placed order April 2 and the fixture has not arrived yet and it is now April 12.  Never received any e-mails from CSN. Logged into my account to find out it is backordered.  DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!  I should have read the reviews and not ordered but I liked the fixture.  TERRIBLE!!!!!!

I was surprised when my lamps arrived only in the original package, and that it was in one piece from being shipped that way.  I bought several Lamps and some from other companies. (All of those came in their box, plus in a shipping box!) So I don't think that I will order anything else because I may not be so lucky in shipping the next time. 

Furthermore the lights are cheaply made for the price...

I also ordering 2 shades identical to the shades on the two lamps I ordered, these were to go with two other lamps I already owned so all four would match.  It was difficult ordering them as it couldn't be done on-line.  It took 2 days in emailing and then calling to order the extra shades to match the lamps I ordered.  I do admit that customer service was helpful both in by email and by phone.

Web said ship in 4-5 business days, sent in order and got email out of stock and will not ship for at least 42 days! already paid by Paypal so won't know for 42 days? if I get the correct item.

Back in July I ordered a light fixture for one bathroom and was very pleased, so much so, that I ordered another one exactly like the first one for another bathroom; HOWEVER, after installation of the second one, we were putting in the first light bulb and an inside metal piece that has ridges just like the screwing end of the light bulb just came loose. Since it is sodered to the inside, it could not be repaired. That made us realize how CHEAPLY MADE this product was. We had to take the light fixture down and we went to a store and bought something entirely different. NOW, I wonder when it comes time to replace a lightbulb in the first bathroom, is this same inside piece going to break off. The second light fixture, I am being given credit ($66); however, the first one cost me over $100. The second one was on sale when I purchased it and has now been discontinued. I can understand why if other people had the same problem as I had when screwing in a lightbulb. If this happens to me again, of course, I will not be given a refund since time has expired in returning the first light fixture and receiving a refund. So for this reason (receiving such a cheaply made product) I don't think that I will be ordering any more product from CSN Lighting. I hope a lightbulb doesn't burn out any time soon because that would be a $100 fixture down the drain that I would not get a refund for.
