Buyer beware. I bought a $400 office star space collection chair from this company in Dec 2008. I bought it after checking out several stores in my area and not finding anything that fit my needs and size. After reviewing their website and several others, assured by their assurance of easy returns plastered all over the site, I ordered the chair. It arrived promptly. I assembled it, and after using it in my study for 3 weeks, realized that it did not give adequate lumbar support because I am quite small. I called their returns department to ask about an exchange. I was told that since the chair was assembled, even though it was almost new, and well within the 45 day (Xmas) return period, I could NOT return it. I was directed to the statement I have included below on their site where buried in a lot of info, there is one line that says "Unfortunately, we cannot take returns of products that have been assembled or modified. " I challenge you to find that line easily, especially as you are browsing to buy. When I asked how I could ascertain fit and comfort without assembling the chair and using it, I was told by the rep... "go to an office supply store and make sure it fits". First of all, I buy online because of the greater selection that is NOT available in my area, and secondly, sitting in a chair for 5 minutes in an office store does not predict how it will feel after 1 or 2 hours. So I am stuck with an expensive chair that does not fit me. If I had bought one of the local chairs that also did not fit, at least I would have my money back when I returned them. So beware of the questionable sales practices that this company employs. I will never shop with them again.

If a product arrives damaged, or we made an error, and it cannot be remedied with replacement parts we will pay to return the item to us and send a replacement to you. If you decide you do not want parts or a replacement, the item can be returned under our standard return policy.
Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy.

Please note: Excluding the 3 items listed above all of the terms of the Standard Return Policy still apply. The cost for Return Protection will not be refunded in the event of a return. Only standard shipping charges will be refunded, expedited shipping charges are not refundable.

We will give you an RMA number and a return address. Wrap the package carefully. All returned products must be in original condition and packaging; otherwise, additional charges may be applied. Return the product using your preferred shipping method to the address you are provided. This may be our main office or to a distribution center. Save your return tracking number, and if possible, email it to us so that we can track the return. It is important that you save the tracking number and that you insure the return package in case there are any issues during transit.
Please Note: Unless the return or exchange is due to an error on our part, we cannot refund shipping and handling. We will issue a credit to the credit card used for the original purchase. For international shipments, we cannot refund the brokerage fee.
