Order "Placed on: 5/26/2008"
This was for a furniture set. The Estimated Delivery Date clearly stated the order would be delayed because one piece would not be available "Until: 6/17/2008."
So far, no problem; I understand that. But a week later I had not received an order confirmation, so I called them. Very nice on the phone, promised to follow up and send me not only an order confirmation but a status update as well, and I received both within 2 days with helpful information about cancelling the order if I didn't want to wait, but waiting was acceptable for me at that time.
I followed up 3 days after the latest expected ship date, received a reply the next day that they would follow up, and the third day I received the ship confirmation and tracking numbers.
I did receive the piece that was back-ordered along with all the other pieces, except one, by July 2nd. After convincing CSN I was missing a piece (they followed up with manufacturer and confirmed it), I waited a month and asked where my missing piece was. Nice email, out of stock, manufacturer issue, etc. Okay, out of their control, I can understand that. It is now August 18th, and still no word on the missing piece. This is 2 months after the delayed expected ship date, and this particular piece was not shown as out of stock, back-ordered, or unavailable when I placed the order.
Customer service is very friendly and helpful, but the manufacturer they use is awful with stock. Don't buy here if you have a deadline or don't have any patience.
