I ordered a FoodSaver from buymebuyme.com. On Wednesday, I received an email confirming it had been shipped. On Friday, I received an email that they have cancelled the order because the item is out of stock. Confused I tried calling their "customer service" number, just to find out they only handle customer service
on line. I hung up, redialed and refused to push any buttons, which worked, as I got a live person.
After a lengthy time on hold, I was informed that when I received the email stating it had shipped, it merely meant the order had been sent to the department that pulls the item and boxes it up. I ask him why it took two days to discover they didn’t have my item in their inventory. He could not answer. I asked why they would charge my credit card five days ago before they knew whether or not they had my item in stock. He didn’t know. I ask him if He said there were other similar products in their inventory or anything even close to it. He said no there was nothing. Knowing Christmas is less than a week away, and feeling my patience running thin, I ask to speak to someone else. I am then transferred to a number no one is answering.
This company sucks, and should not be allowed to conduct business.
