I decided to buy a camera through Buydig.com because they had the lowest price on the model I wanted and a great bundle deal. My goal was to have this camera by christmas, and considering I put in the order December 11th, and they were offering 3-6 day shipping, it wouldn't be a problem. Today is christmas eve, and I don't have my camera and won't likely be getting it until next week. The delays were caused by many different reasons
The time it took them to process my order and get it shipped.
The fact that they only offer FedEx delivery, which is great for the shipper, but ALWAYS inconvenient for the recipient. Had they been willing to send it USPS, they could have gotten their signature, and had I not been home, I could have walked the few blocks over to the post office rather than the far outskirts of town to pick up from a FedEx location. Which even willing to do this, FedEx cannot find my package. I
strongly suggest not shopping at online retailers who only offer FedEx as an option.
When calling buydig customer service, they make it clear they don't want calls from you, encourage you to look at the FAQs (which I did) and hurry you off the phone. And in case you are wondering, I am not someone that ever calls outraged with anger in my voice. I speak softly, politely and inquire...
