This was my first time buying a costume online & I will say that it will be my last time. I ordered the costume, they took the money & then the next day I received an e-mail stating my order was cancelled. About 5 days later I got my money back. That same day I decided to try ordering again. A few days later (the day before halloween) I received the costume, & it was dirty. When I made a phone call to customer service I was accused of being a liar & that there was no way I was going to get all of my money back. I was furious and thought I was stuck. I called back about an hour later and got a different person & she was wonderfull she immediately started my return.

The Vampira wig was not the same as the picture and discription. Since the shipping order was messed up and the wig was not put in the box to be shipped originally, I was not able to return it and reorder another. That was disappointing.

I orderd a Marilyn Monroe costume and receive a brown afro wig! I called the company and they said they would send immediately email me a postage label for the return, but I had to email once and call once to finally get it. I have not received my credit card bill yet, so I hope I got the return credited.

I ordered my son's halloween costume last year from buycostumes.com and everything was great but this year I had a bad experience. I ordered my son a pirate costume and received the wrong costume. I was sent a girl abby cadabby costume. I was really disappointed because I had wonderful service last year and this year it was bad. I called to see what had happened and tried to get his correct order in but it was out-of-stock, now I was really upset. I had to wait a couple of day to see if you all were going to receive another shipment of the pirate costume. I didnt appreciate the fact that I had to wait to order my son's costume again because you all sent me the wrong costume. I did get the right costume, but was really disappointed with the shipment. I will be ordering from here again next year and hope that everything will be sent correctly.

We ordered two halloween costumes. They arrived on time, but one of them was the wrong size. I had ordered a small, and the invoice said small, but the actual costume size was extra small. I called and was told that it would be no problem to replace the wrong size. There was no return label or postage guaranteed for me to return the wrong costume, but the real problem was that a replacement was never sent. Two days after delivery was promised, I called to see if they could track it and tell me if it should arrive that day. They had a record of my phone call, but no record of anything being sent out. By then it was too late.

It was very easy to find the item I was looking for. The site also allowed me to view the costume from many different angles and that was an excellent feature. The only downside to the site is that I was unable to choose a size. My order was shipped in just one generic size even thought the wording made it seem like the product was available in 3 different sizes. Regardless, the costume fit well and was very cute.

Costume were good but they werent like they were depicted as they were in the picture they should have better pics of showing the merchandise just beacuse the mask that came with the costume was cheap looking and the picture made it look pretty good but it was shipped as said for time so over all from 1-10 scale i would have to give them a 7

The website says all stock is up to date but I ordered my costume and recieved an email the next morning saying my order was cancelled. Confused and unhappy, I called the company. The quality of the customer service was repulsive, and I still had no costume. Because of this sites unreliability, I had to search for a while different costume from a different website, and pay extra for shipping to assure I recieved it ontime for Halloween. There is no way I'll ever use their site again unless I got like a free costume or something.

I only have issue with being able to followup with an accessory that I was emailed when it arrived. I havent been able to order the item because 1. there wasnt a link to the accessory 2. wasnt able to purchase at the website because it tells me they will email me when its available. That is pretty frustrating.

The costumes were great and worth the money -and buy costumes offered a free refund for the return of the costumes --but......time was a factor. I had ordered for them for a parade and for halloween and the costume sizes were so way off that couldn't be used for the parade. I ordered a small for my tiny dog and a med form my med dog --even the smallsize was too big for the med dog ---luckily I could alter and sew to accomidate halloween --but it did cost more money and time but the parade was definately ruined !!!---It would have been better for buy costumes to ck the sizes with the manufacturer before listing --especially being so far off for the measurements listed on the pet chart.

They were out of stock of the item I wanted, so I signed up for an email notification, which worked great. Ordered the item and paid for expedited shipping, but it still arrived 2 days later than the "Guaranteed by" date, which was annoying. I would shop with them again, but I would shop earlier and not pay for expedited shipping.
