The drum I got was not what I expected. I got a compatible one instead of a refurbished/remanufactured one.
The price was abt $ 50 which is almost 4 times the price of other compatible ones. I would have accepted the $ 50 for a refurbished/remanufactured one.

I placed an order for a Christmas present Dec 8th. It's been a week and it still hasn't shipped. I found out that buy.com is not an actual vendor -- they send your order to another vendor for fulfillment and have no way of checking the status of the order, or if the item is even in stock. To make it worse, when you call customer support your call goes to India and you get some jackass who could care less. They told me they would "escalate the issue" and that I would be contacted via e-mail -- that never happened, so they are liars as well as useless morons.
I canceled the order with them and went to newegg.com. It should arrive by Wednesday of next week. I think it's better to pay a little for shipping and actually have it arrive on time. When newegg says they have something in stock they really mean it. buy.com sucks, newegg rocks. |

I placed the order at buy.com to purchase 1 quantity of android tablet with a new customer discount of $10 for $82.99. After placing the order, I was able to print out the order summary that shows the purchase total is $82.99 (base price 92.99 - discount 10). Next day, they charged the price for two quantities and there is no discount applied! Discussed about this to 4 of their customer service people but of no use. They are blaming that I placed wrong order (when the paper print out on my hand shows $82.99)! Never ever would do business with them!

Everything was good to excellent with the whole process. The only thing that went wrong was the screen door I ordered had a piece broken on it and it didn't break because of the shipping. The box was in excellent shape. The pieces were tied too tight with their plastic wrap and where it was tied, it broke right there.
I didn't notified the company because I really need the door and I can fix the piece by glueing it. It's not a stress piece of the door so glueing will do the trick but it shouldn't been tied that tight when they boxed it. Just a snug fit would keep it ok during shipping but it was pulled way too tight with the wrapping plastic that it broke right there. It looks like it could had broke as it was wrapped? Don't want to ship back and forth. If it wasn't damaged, then I would rate everything with the highest approval but I can't because of the damage...

Buy.com is my favorite internet shopping site and I have spent more money there than I probably should have! I am almost always satisfied with what I purchase. However, when the 7" tablet stands with USB keyboards arrived yesterday, I discovered that I will need to buy a micro USB adapters for them to fit my tablets. The size of the adapters on the keyboards is much larger than the ports on my tablets and wasn't in the product description. I think it would have been helpful to know if they were micro USBs or not. I will now have to spend more money to make this work. I am currently unable to check to see if the product works, but am hopeful that they will.

This order was through a buy.com marketplace seller (J&R). Only problem was that the order shipping/tracking info was not updated at buy.com's website. Don't know if that was seller or buy.com's responsibility. I contacted the seller & found they had shipped the order in timely manner & they provided the tracking info. J&R responded quickly to my inquiry.

The only thing that would improve the experience (and this is a very small thing since everything went well) is the tracking of the package. I only knew that it shipped. It would be nice to know where the package is (like with UPS tracking it gives you destinations where it is and tells you when it's out for delivery). Otherwise, a good experience.
