Brylane Home's so called customer service does not exist! I have been attempting over a week to determine if my order has been shipped. So far, no one has been able to answer that simple question. And don't bother to ask a question about any of their products. Again, no one can tell you anything! I had the same shipping issue on a previous order but just chalked it up to a one time goof up. But the same thing is happening again. There will not be a next time with me!

Don't be fooled by Brylane's own online reviews - they only publish the good ones. They invited me to review the comforter set I bought from them, and the poor review I submitted never made it to their website. The set included a comforter that I would have classified second quality due to the poor stitching, pillow shams and a bedskirt that was so poorly made that it tore at the seam as soon as I put it on the bed. Funny how they're now selling the set at half the price that I paid for it... The matching sheets are also second quality in my opinion due to the poor stitching. (The website says these items are "imported," but it doesn't say from where. I expected it to be China. Sadly, upon checking the tags, I found these rejects to be made in Canada.)
Since my cats will no doubt be putting pulls in the fabric soon anyway, I didn't bother to return the set, so I can't comment on CS as far as returns go. |

I ordered a king size quilt set that was so small it would not cover my mattress side to side or head to foot even though my mattress is only 8" thick. I wanted to return it using the $5.75 shipping offered by Brylane. Turns out there wasn't a return label attached to my invoice. The invoice was torn when it arrived and looked like it had been caught in something. I called to get a return label, but they stubbornly refused to send me one. Don't you understand? I didn't lose it, you left it out of my shipment? "That's your problem" was their reply. After talking and emailing customer service and getting the same stubborn answer "we don't send out shipping labels", I had to pre-pay to ship it back, costing me $14.00 instead of the $5.75 they promise. Because of their stubbornness and inability to resolve their error, I won't buy from them ever again.

I am a Realtor in Washington. Our family remodels homes and own many rental properties. I have had to buy many curtains and sheers. Brylane is priced well and one stop shopping to my door. There have been no problems with replacements, price reductions when things come on sale after I received my product, and no issue with shipping prices for delivery either way when being purchased or sent back. The product has been of at least the quality I would expect to receive. I do not typically like to shop online but this store has worked well for me on quite a few purchases.

We ordered $600 worth of window treatments from Brylane Home (at a 20% discount). After waiting 2 months because the item was backordered, they arrived but were the wrong item. We called and Brylane Home tried to tell us that we ordered the wrong item. Then they said they would have to charge us the full price and would not give us the original discounted price! After I complained, then they put someone on the phone that agreed to refund the difference, but only after the order was shipped. So, I'd have to have another $700 tied up at Brylane Home until this was all sorted out. We decided to just return the items and get our money back.

I have ordered several times from Brylane. Their site is very easy to use. Doing a quick search will always lead to several valuable coupons. Their sales are very good! I have always gotten exactly what I ordered and have never been dissapointed. They ship very quickly and always provide tracking numbers. I have found their customer service polite and efficent and returns are hassle free!

I was very pleased with the quality of all products that I had ordered, their website is very easy to move through and find what you are looking for. Shipping took less then a week. I placed an order for something and was told a week later that it was backordered - even though it was still on the website as in stock. If your order is "in process" you can't cancel it but you if you wait until it is processed, it's on its way to you. THEN you have to pay to return it. Now I've been told that the item is no longer for sale (still showing up on their website though) and that I can't cancel it because the order is "still in process". This company plays a lot of games. There also doesn't seem to be a way to contact them online - BIG red flag.
Buyer beware with this company. There are too many reputable businesses around to have to settle for dealing with these jokers. If you see something you like on their site, just Google the name and find it someplace else. |

I've heard mixed reviews from people who purchased from Brylane Home, but my overall experience has been pleasant.
I've made a number of purchases and all shopping is easy, prices are competitive and the quality of the items I've received were good. I've purchase curtains, pillow covers and home accessories. All the Brylane Home items are holding up great (even to the abuse by my cat after a year). So far... so good! I recommend them. I've just purchased a bedding set (my first with them) so I'll see if the quality matches my previous experiences. This is a great place if you like to makeover a room or change the look often for a deal. |

I found a coupon for Brylane at Buy.com's edealinfo.com site. The coupon reads $15 off an order of $29.99 or more (last I looked it was still there). When I tried to place an order, the coupon did not show up correctly. I contacted customer service who said it would show up correctly during processing. I believed them and placed the order. To make a long story short, after repeated contact w/them they refuse to honor the coupon saying it is for $15 off $30 not off $29.99. They finally agreed to make an exception and refund the $15 but that never happened either. The coupon is STILL an active link and they make no attempt to correct it..Can you say scam??? On another order with a coupon they charged me for shipping when I had a free shipping code. When I called on that one they wanted to give me a $5 coupon towards a future order! I like their merchandise but their customer service and business practices aren't worth the headaches.

We ordered (2) Comforters, Shams, and Skirts sets. We received the Comforters without the Shams and Skirts and were told these were back-ordered. A month later we received a letter to call them and were told at that time that we would need to send back the Comforters and they would then send us the complete Comforter, Skirt & Shams sets. They told us they couldn't break open a set to send just the Skirts and Shams. Our question to them was if our order was only sold as a set why did they send us only the Comforters in the first place? No answer. It would appear that when we placed this order Customer Sales was more interested in making a Sale than they were in providing open and honest customer service. If we had been told that the items weren't available and would need to be back-ordered, we may not have placed the order but we at least we would have been open to order from Brylane Home in the future. As is... they blew it... we will never place another order with this company.

Very disappointed. I was trying to order the " 32 piece Terrace Mix and Match Dinnerware plates " last night but there was trouble with the web site. I was told it would be up and running fine in the morning, so... This a.m. I wanted to place the order and the store said it has a back order and will not be in until November. That was fine,but the web site again was not working right so I called to place the order and was told they no longer have ANY available. SO because their web site was not working properly, I am no longer able to get this dinnerware set. So in a matter of a few hours I'm out of luck.

Definitely does not understand the concept of customer service, and as nicely as I can state, "stretches the truth" on several fronts.
Shipping: 8-10 business days is their commitment, but their arrangement with UPS is 15 business days. Hence, if product is not received, they will take NO ACTION until 15 business days have passed. Customer Service: Online as well as printed literature states that Customer Service is 24/365. Not true, actually hours are 8 am cst to 9 pm cst (actual days unknown). Also, Customer Service number rings to order department. After waiting for a human there, you have to be forwarded to Customer Service hence additional wait time. Credit: If you need a credit (as in my case due to never receiving product), they state that it may take up to 2...yes 2 billing cycles before the credit appears. Perhaps their pricing is subsidized by the float they get on customer's cash. BryLane "Anything" - never again |

PLEASE save yourself your time, money and sanity by never ordering from this company. My mother placed an order for a comforter for my daughter for her birthday. Despite the fact that she ordered a month in advance Brylane gave many, many excuses as to why the order would not arrive on time BUT only AFTER weeks of promises that the item would indeed arrive on time. Since the comforter would not arrive on time my mom cancelled the order. Brylane then called and sent her a postcard to let her know that the order would be delayed. So she called again TWICE to cancel the order and was told by the last customer service rep. that the order was cancelled and there would be no charge to her credit card. Two days later the charge appeared on her credit card and later that week (a full 2 weeks AFTER my daughter's birthday) half of the order arrived. I refused delivery. It has been 2 months since the birthday and my mom's credit card company is still trying to straighten out the mess that Brylane made with this order.
