I have shopped at Books-a-Million several times and am always very happy with my experience. Although it’s not as big as a Barnes and Noble or Borders, they have a very friendly, knowledgeable staff who are passionate about books and they offer a smaller but nonetheless excellent selection. Books-a-million prices are always low and very affordable, and they are more than willing to order a book for you if they don’t already have it on hand. If I am looking for a hard to find book online and I see that Books-a-Million has it, I will try to buy it from them because I prefer to support their business since I have had such good experiences there. When I have ordered the books online, they are always delivered quickly and packaged well. There are not as many brick-and-mortar stores around as some of their larger competitors, but if you do happen to come across one, I would definitely recommend stopping in. Books-a-Million has books on every conceivable topic. Also, when shopping online, it’s very nice because they offer free shipping on orders of $25 or more. They are cozy stores with such friendly service and a great way for an avid-reader to browse away a rainy afternoon.
