The only way that I would do business with boatersworld.com again would be for them to file for bankruptcy and reorganize as a new company. In this case, I would not know that they are affiliated with boatersworld.com. Poor customer service, poor tracking abilities, and delayed shipping. I would never do business with them again, nor would I refer them to anyone.

ordered rod holders, received rubber corks. Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Will never order from this company again and I advise my friends to do the same. Customer service was more concerened with getting their material back than sending me what I ordered.
AWFUL SERVICE !!!! BTW, found material at Melton tackle,they know what a rod holder looks like !!

I had to return the product because it was the wrong size and and took about 3 months to get a credit even though I returned the product one week later. I had to use the on-line chat system because they never answered the phone. Took about 4-5 attempts to get the $30 credit.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND they non-english language reps can't be understood. They refused to address my concerns and repeatedly told me they would get back to me. I finally go an RMA after 3 weeks. But they are charging me a restocking fee and refuse to discuss. I am out all of my shipping costs both ways. Good money after bad. I wrote a blog about how bad they were.

As far as I know your company sent the parcel to the wrong address, consequently it was returned without me ever seeing it.
I've given you the right address,so how in God's green earth
did the Parcel end up in Alabama instead of the proper address Legal,Alberta Canada?
I received a phone call from Fed-Ex one morning at 5:00 a.m.
asking me where Legal Alabama is. I explained to the women on the other end as to where it should be sent, but obviously she could not comprehend.
After many dissapointing phone calls to try and sort it out, it was eventually returned. In the mean time because of your mistakes my credit card has to wait for 10 days to have the money credited back to the account.
I ordered range finders from Hayneedle at the same time and received them very promptly without any problems.
I am very frustrated with the experience I had trying to sort this out.

Terrible customer service, miscommunication galore, excessive response times while trying to resolve...DO NOT USE BOATERSWORLD.COM. I placed an order totallin $104 with free shipping, they shipped part of my order while charging the full $104. After about two weeks without receipt of the missing items I emailed and was told that BoatersWorld cancelled the items. I requested that they place the missing items on back order as I needed these items - they refused to place them on back order even though the web site indicates missing items will be placed on back order. I was issued a refund for these items LESS shipping charges - I contacted them for a refund of shipping since they had accepted the order with free shipping and they had cancelled the items against my wishes. They refused to honor the free shipping since the resultant order was less than $100 even though due to their actions against my wishes. During the discussions with customer service they seemed incoherent, repeatedly responding with seemingly canned responses of 'we're sorry' but never corrected anything. It seemed that no one actually read my comments? I'll never buy again!

They had the correct product at an OK price. I ordered what I wanted and paid with PayPal, as indicated on the on-line check-out page. I was given an order number. When I tried tracing the shipment I was unable to find out where it was. I finally phoned them and they said they had cancelled the order as I had paid with PayPal. They had not bothered to tell me, and simply said that "overseas" buyers could not use Paypal. I live in Canada, so cannot, and certainly will not, use BoatersWorld again.

ordered 2 pcs. Received one piece that was 2/3 the size of one piece.Called numerous times, could not get through.Emailed without answers. Finally sent a question on another product through e-bay. got response. After 3 more e mails and a long time got RMA. Sent back, no response. e mailed and called. As usual calls on terminal hold. Finally got response they never received pkg.Emailed that I had sent it on x date. received e mail I would get credit. I wanted what I ordered, not credit. Finally month later got credit after hounding them again.

I ordered a mini boat horn. When the package arrived it was a toggle switch instead. I called customer service and was told they would send a return label for the switch, I think the man said via email. Never has come. I canceled the order as I purchased another elsewhere. I will be very upset if I find I was charged for the horn and not credited.

The order took WEEKS to deliver. I called to inquire if it was backordered. I was on hold more than 60 mins the first time I called and hung up, the 2nd time I called it took 38 mins to get someone. I also tried to communicate on line with a rep and was "on hold" with them as well. None of the people I spoke or interacted with had a clue how long it would take, just that it was in stock "somewhere" and they did not have access to any information. I also was not able to track the item when it did ship. It finally showed up and 5 days AFTER delivery I rec'd an e-mail notification that it was shipping and was concerned that I'd receive a 2nd one and be billed for it as well. This was the worst on line shopping experience I've ever had with any company.

Other Companies tell you that it is in stock and will ship in normally so many days. This Company doesn't give you that much information so if I am in a Hurry; probably will go with someone else.

twp of the items I got quickly. One item didn't get it until three weeks after others. Talked to some guy in India that I couldn't understand. He didn't even know what the part was. Said he someone would email me back with status of order, never did. No response from company. Item finally showed up with no notice or apology for delay. Boatersworld offers great prices and I like the quick service when the order was handled properly, but talking to someone in India is useless. They do not know the products and are difficult to understand. Keep the jobs in the US. I will monitor the use of outside US labor. If that continues, I will switch to another online compnay.

It appears that the merchant had the wrong item number for the description of the product. ( wrong items received). At first, they insisted I ordered the wrong item before agreeing to pay shipping to return the items. Then as I am waiting for correct items, I never received them. Merchant rep, says they cancelled my order and a credit will be issued. It took a month to have the credit on my account.
Needless to say, I was not a happy boater. No explanation or apology was ever received, only emails about sales.

I called to follow up on the order 10 days before Christmas and was told someone would get back to me in 48 hours, no one called so I called again and they said they were waiting for the mft. to get back with them. Needless to say I did not get it for Christmas and then had to follow up again and your organization claimed that it got stolen off my front porch but it was delivered which was a lie. I called again and then they said it was out of stock and would not be offering and I should fill out the paperwork and maybe they would consider refunding. They did refund however as a boater I will NEVER buy from here again and will tell my friends as well. Terrible experience!

I never did receive the product and had to cancel the order. The process of canceling was also very "painful". When i ordered the items i did so from their site, but only after calling o be sure it was in stock. I was so assured. Then there was no message from them saying that the product shipped. I called and was told it was in a different warehouse. I asked that it be shipped ASAP and was told it would be shipped soon. Days later still nothing. Called again and was told they were working on it. I told them to cancel it and was told they would "TRY" but that might take a few days and if they did i would get an email. No email, called again and was told they were working on it. Days later i received an email saying because they no longer carried the item it would have to be cancelled. This process took more than 2 weeks to complete with far too much time involved on my part and no concern on theirs.
