Item ordered said two days for shipping. This item was ordered on 11-17-09 and not delivered until 12-14-0p. every time I contacted customer service, I was told that the item was showing ready to ship but could not tell me when. No one could tell me any details of the status of my order except it was showing ready to ship leaving me not knowing if this gift was going to be delivered or not. I may order again from your company but would love to see some inprovements for customer information regarding order information.

I called before ordering to affirm that there were 4 lights for the price of approximately $175.00. The rep tho't so, but would get back to me in less than 24 hrs. He did not.
I called again, and that rep assured me that 4 lights were indeed what I would get. One light came. I called and was informed that only one light would be sent, I would have to pay nore the $525.00 for the other 3. It took about 3 calls and promises of a call back in 24 hrs that never came to get that info. I said I wanted to return the item that I had got, and not pay the 25% return charge. They would get back to me with a return number and confirmation that I wouldn't be charged the 25% return charge within 24 hrs. I am still waiting for that.
I was polite and tried to jump through all their hoops.
I am no longer feeling polite.

I contacted them a week after purchase to find out why it had not arrived, No one could get me an answer, the next day I was told it shipped Fed X, and it had been left. I checked and the package to this tracking # was shipped 6 months earlier. Then it took to long to get my money refunded to my card.

Using people in INDIA to handle all customer support is a nightmare. They do not speak U.S. kind of English. They consistently misunderstand the situation. For instance, they said my VISA card was denied. I called my VISA customer support and THEY SAID no one had even tried to make a charge on the card. This all went on for four days before it got straightened out. It was only fixed after I requested cancellation of the order. FRUSTRATING times 1000!!!!!!!

The shopping experience on the Internet was very enjoyable. The subsequent phone order was fulfilled very professionally and all my questions were answered without any followup phone calls. This is highly appreciated. As for the product purchased I am very happy with it. I only wish there was a means on your Survey e-mail to contact manufacturers of equipment purchased so that they could receive individuals comments and suggestions ie. I have an Idea and have performed some basic experimentation that could possibly be introduced into a product that could be highly beneficial to Humminbird.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH!!!Worst online & purchasing experience ever!! Poor customer service, you are dealing with someone on the other side of the world who cares zero about your order. After placing order and them guaranteeing when they would ship and paying extra for overnight delivery, I received messages that the order would ship within 1 business day. When I called to confirm, they didn't care about my shipping and tried to telemarket more services to me to guarantee that my original order would ship. Then I cancelled the order and they told me it would take 10-14 days to put the amount back on my card, which was a very large amount of money (in excess of $2,000)WORST EVER!!!!! How do they stay in business???

The New Delhi call center people don't understand English very well. After trying for a long time to place an order I had to do it online.
Then they told me the product would ship in the next few days. After a week they emailed and said the product was not in stock.
I will not do business with this outfit ever again.

Ordered a Taylormade Ultima custom cover for my boat. I called a couple times to check the status of my order and customer service was no help at all, they could not provide me with any information as to why it was taking so long for the manufacturer to fill the order. 3 1/2 weeks after placing the order I received the wrong cover. The manufacturer sent a Hot Shot cover (cheaper model) instead of the Ultima. To resolve the problem they re-ordered and charged my credit card a sceond time and will not credit me back until they receive the Hot Shot cover back. This is not acceptbable customer service. I will not buy from Boatersworld or any Taylormade boat cover again. From my ordeal I have figured out that both companies cannot be trusted and don't provide the delivery times they advertise.

I paid 19.95 to upgrade the shipping on my order to have it by the weekend. First, they stated my address didn't match my credit card-have lived here 40 yrs no problems. Second, could not tell me if item was even in stock and when it would ship. 3rd told me signature required for delivery so I could refuse,FedEx threw it against the garage door and left. Item came within 5 days not 3 that was promised. Non English speaking Customer Service Reps impossible to understand. 40 minute live chat useless and canned. Called to cancel the order-they shipped it anyway. I believe their customer service call center is in India. Would never do business there again. Ordered same item directly from Pentax no problems there.

My customer service experience was HORRIBLE. I am a frequent internet buyer and have never experienced worse customer service. After placing my order for a garmin depth sounder I recieved an email indicating that I needed to call the company to fulfil my order. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes with elevator music that drifted in and out as if the phone had disconnected I was routed to a 3rd party customer service agency with a non-native english speaker who had no idea what boatersworld.com even was for the first minute of the conversation. After this episode it took another 10 minutes of waiting on hold to finally resolve a simple online order. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Purchasing online was easy. However, I had called customer service to confirm that the "Marine CB Antennea" would work properly with a marine band radio. Once installed, it will work effectively within extremely short distances, however, I do not believe it works appropriately over longer distances of more that about half a mile. I am extremely dissapointed in the customer service information I recieved.

THere was a special, but I couldn't find any way to comply with its requirements. I did the ON LINE chat type thing with their workers, but still couldn't find another purchase for about $4 to make my shipping FREE, so I had to pay for the shipping, which was not what I would have liked since they advertised free shipping for purchases over $100. I tried to find something else to buy and couldn't so they got me for the about $6 or so of shipping fees.

When I called customer service I was transferred to an outsourced foreign answering service who spoke very poor english, who had absolutely no understanding of the nature of my problem, and who had no understanding of boating, who promised to send me a return authorization in a week - which never happened. I finally had to go to C-map themselves to resolve the problem.
