too much inventory to choose from. make it more of a niche shopping experience. i went to bluefly because i was looking for something specific and bluefly had it, but i wouldn't go to bluefly just to browse and shop. feels too overwhelming.

Bluefly charges almost 8 bucks for shipping no matter how much you spend. Other merchants offer the same or similar options with free or $2 express shipping. I'll shop at those retailers over bluefly now that I've used up my bluefly store credit.

I find Bluefly to have a great selection and they are always having some sort of deal. I bought a bag that was gorgeous, but I was disappointed upon receiving it when I found that I could not use the bag as a shoulder bag. The reason I mention this is because when selecting the item and looking at the "details" and "alternate views", the bag was shown on a model being used as a shoulder bag (which being able to use as a shoulder bag was one of my main criteria when purchasing said item). Now I know that they give measurements of the straps in the details, but if I have nothing to compare it to since I am shopping online, I am probably just going to trust that since they show it on a model as a shoulder bag, that it is indeed a shoulder bag! So when I had called Bluefly about this issue they just weren't very understanding or apologetic... I am already a repeat customer and have spent a good deal of money at this point! Unfortunately for Bluefly, because of the better customer service from other companies, I am not likely to make a purchase with them again.

Great prices for quality merchandise. Very carefully packaged in nice paper. Makes you feel special. But don't "try" out the discount codes they give you unless you are sure you want to purchase with them. You can only type it in once, and then it registers invalid even if you haven't used it to make a purchase with.

I generally like shopping at Bluefly, though after I made my purchase, they notified me about a sale where I could have saved another 10%. This can happen with any retailer, though. I do like the merchandise, though, and the customer service is excellent. This is what would make me shop at Bluefly more often: -free shipping on returns for Canadians too (a return could cost me more than $30. If I need to return something, I'll have spent $60 on shipping to and fro, and have no merchandise in my hand.) -better selection of blouses. They don't have many classic shirts. Other than that though, their service is excellent and their prices are good. Thanks, Cristina
