Experience is okay. Their sales and markdowns are not as significant as other discount retailers. Their promotions have a lot of conditions set on them. Otherwise, the products are good and always packaged properly and arrive on time.

I received today my purchase of handbags and I was disappointed to find that the buckle on one of the bags was badly scratched. I live in Australia and it would not be cost effective to return the bag because of the freight charges I would incur. I think that the scratch was very noticable so it should have been changed before dispatching.

I love Bluefly; they have great merchandise, and I will continue to shop there. I am disappointed in this purchase, however, because the heel height is not the advertized 3 1/4", but 4 1/2". I specifically asked a service rep if the height was 3 1/4" in my size, and was told yes.

Always very good service. I do wish the on-line photos of the products were on live models though, it's hard to tell what the product will actually look like so I frequently have trouble with the right fit.

Bluefly charges almost 8 bucks for shipping no matter how much you spend. Other merchants offer the same or similar options with free or $2 express shipping. I'll shop at those retailers over bluefly now that I've used up my bluefly store credit.

I find Bluefly to have a great selection and they are always having some sort of deal. I bought a bag that was gorgeous, but I was disappointed upon receiving it when I found that I could not use the bag as a shoulder bag. The reason I mention this is because when selecting the item and looking at the "details" and "alternate views", the bag was shown on a model being used as a shoulder bag (which being able to use as a shoulder bag was one of my main criteria when purchasing said item). Now I know that they give measurements of the straps in the details, but if I have nothing to compare it to since I am shopping online, I am probably just going to trust that since they show it on a model as a shoulder bag, that it is indeed a shoulder bag! So when I had called Bluefly about this issue they just weren't very understanding or apologetic... I am already a repeat customer and have spent a good deal of money at this point! Unfortunately for Bluefly, because of the better customer service from other companies, I am not likely to make a purchase with them again.
