Ordering and receiving the chair was fine. I ordered a chair with casters. I received the chair, but NO casters. I called the company and asked them to send just the casters, I don't want to return the chair, just want the casters. Has only been two days, so can't say if they will arrive in a reasonable time frame or not.

After placing my order online at 1 a.m. Thursday, the following Monday I received an e-mail that the item's price had changed from $40 to $60, even though the merchant's Web site STILL advertised a price of $40. When I called BizChair.com's customer service, all they gave were excuses: "We don't work on weekends," "It takes time to update the Web site," "That's not how it works in the real world," etc. (By the way, I had placed an order with another merchant at the same time and had already received the merchandise before getting BizChair's e-mail.) BizChair told me unapologetically to either cancel the order or pay the higher price. I canceled the order and will NEVER order from BizChair.com again.

The stool/chair arrived with a broken paddle handle (in my opinion, due to poor packaging by the manufacturer). It took four inquiries to get a reply. BizChair sent replacement part and I replaced it myself. All in all, the stool/chair was a fair price but BizChair's customer support was mediocre at best.

I found the information about the product helpful. The item was on sale which was very important to my purchase at BizChair. I liked the quality of the item purchased and that was the primary reason for my purchase of the BizChair version of this item. I tried to track delivery, but couldn't tell what the estimated delivery date was, even after the unit was in NJ, waiting for delivery. I was hoping the table would be delivered while I was visiting in NY so I could see my grandson receive it, but it took several days longer. Still I was very pleased that the product came in good shape, is good quality and was on sale. I'll see it on my next visit!

After a lot of comparison shopping, I ordered a printer stand from Biz Chair online in the early morning hours on a Thursday. It wasn't until the next Monday that I got an e-mail that the price on the Web site was incorrect. If I wanted the item, it would cost 50 percent more. (Note: By that time, an order I had placed with another business (BuyOnlineNow) the same morning had already arrived.) I didn't expect much when I called Biz Chair's customer service. I just wanted to know why it took FIVE DAYS to find out about the price increase, which was STILL incorrect on the Web site. What I got was a series of holds, excuses ("We don't work on the weekends," "It takes a while to change prices on the Web site" and so on) and no interest in compromise. The customer service reps were either arrogant or laughable ("Well, that's not the way it is in the real world"). Overall Biz Chair is inefficient, sluggish, dishonorable, unreliable and couldn't care less.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Their customer service is AWFUL! I am resigned to the fact that I will have to contact my credit card company to dispute this charge after futile attempts to rectify the situation. It arrived damaged so I refused the cabinet. Now, months later, still no cabinet. They loop you around in customer service until it feels like you've slipped into a black hole. STAY AWAY.

Item came as described BUT:
1. The order was shipped directly from the manufacturer (Office Star)- no packing slip included but that's the least of the problems (see Paragraph 3) 2. The order took FOREVER (over 3 weeks) to get here 3. Was poorly packed and a part of the chair (an arm) was damaged BUT in most cases that's not a problem- s##t happens. After calling BizChair and BEING ON HOLD FOR 40 MINUTES I was told that I have to go directly through the manufacturer--- as opposed to saying that since I'd ordered through them they'd take care of it. Apparently Office Star has similar customer service to BizChair- the replacement order took FOREVER to be shipped and they even managed to eff it up (sent the wrong part). Unfortunately both companies are not registered with the BBB and there is nothing else you can do but write a nasty review on EPinions. What can I say- a cheap person pays twice. When I called about my order since I hadn't heard anything about the expected delivery date, the CSR who was very friendly, told me the stools would ship by the end of the following week. This was fine with me. However, the stools arrived later on the same day she told me they would not ship for another 10 days. Something was really wrong with the system she looked at. I was happy to get them early. I guess the saying under commit and over deliver does make sense.

The ordering process was above average, but the chair is of poor quality for the price paid, having sub-standard upholstery, sub-standard cushioning, and it arrived w/ broken plastic collar where seat joins back, Also, seat could not be fastened with 4 screws as it should be, due to steel plate being bent out of shape. It is obvious quality control is not in place.
It is not an option to send the chair back as it was a gift for someone, but I am embarrassed, as the gift giver, that this was such a poor quality gift, and I will not use this company again.

The web site has a order tracking feature, but for the three weeks since I ordered it is blank. I called last Thursday, but the agent knew nothing about my order. She promised to call the factory and call or email me with an update that day or the next morning at the latest. That was four days ago, and the web site order tracking info is still blank. When I ordered, the estimate was that the chair would be shipped in 7-10 business days. It has been 13 business days.

All was good, with the very minor exception that there were more parts to assemble than I anticpated when ordering. The quality of the merchandise exceeded my expectations; the service of the shipper (Fedex) did also. I got what I ordered, on time and in good shape. It serves our purposes well.
