I am still waiting for confirmation that I will receive a replacement for a damaged base. I have called three times, with no resolution at my damaged part, and it's been over 2 weeks now that I received a damaged product. I rate them an F- for communication and resolution of damaged merchandise.

I would suggest using a smaller vehicle to transport chairs. The truck was so large I had to drive 8 miles to meet the driver and pick up my items. He was afraid the state roads wouldn't give him a place to turn around.

The process of ordering the table was not difficult even though I did need to email a question. The response to my question was very quick and helpful. The tracking of the product was not as good as I've experienced with other companies. Perhaps I thought the tracking would begin after several days but when it didn't or when I didn't receive an email indicating the table was on its way, I did call to find out that it was shipping from Arkansas and that it probably would be here in 2 - 3 days. As it turned out, I received a call from the shipping company that same day and the table was delivered that afternoon; therefore, I really had no tracking information prior to my calling the company. That, alone, would not cause me not to use this company again, but a usable tracking system would certainly be helpful and would be faster than a phone call.

After some deliberation, considering all the bad reviews here about bizchair, we bought 8 brown Shen Leather Chairs for our dining room table. Although we bought them at bizchair, the order was processed by Euro Style Inc, shipped by Conway Freight, and took 8 days to get to our home. All-in-all, the chairs are exactly what we wanted, got to us in a timely manner, and were a really good price.
Although I had a good experience, I can only give a good (not great) rating about their communications. I got one email, confirming my order was made, but no emails about when it was shipped. I can only assume that their communications with the processing vendor and shipping company are not very automated. Similarly, when I called to find out the status of my shipping, my call was answered quickly and the service rep was friendly and tried to be helpful, but was not able to quickly check on my shipping status. All of this being said, my order got to me more quickly than I expected, and the shipping company was very easy to work with. |

I had absolutely no problems with bizchair.com. They had the lowest price online for the item I wanted, the Spartak Fold Down Desk, by almost $100.00 less than anywhere else I found. The shipping was free and quick, the item was in perfect condition. The fact that it was not easy to put together was not unexpected, and certainly had nothing to do with bizchair. All in all, it was a very good experience.

I lucked up on this website when trying to find maple furntinue to match a maple bookcase that I had for years. I was really surprised the low prices and most of all the free shipping. anything that I purchase becuase of the economy, I try to get free shipping as shipping can be astranominical.

It was not possible to assemble either of the 2 chairs received - 1 was missing an essential part, the other had the wrong parts that didn't fit together (seat and/or tilt mechanism.) The merchant sent new parts, but one of the chairs still couldn't be assembled. We were so frustrated we didn't even try to assemble the other one with the new tilt mechanism because the chair back couldn't be affixed on the one we tried to assemble using the identical tilt mechanism. Merchant wants to send us more parts. We have no confidence that they will ship anything that will allow us to assemble the chairs, and only want to return them. Merchant states they will charge us for original (free?!!) shipping, plus we must pay to ship the items back, a total of over $100 for items we cannot assemble, much less use. Worst online purchasing experience I have ever had, bar none, out of hundreds of online purchases I have made over the years. Thoroughly disgusted and frustrated.

I tried to order the leather sofa for $184.00 on their site but it was no longer available on one email another email it was available and then another it was not. Finally they told me it was not available and would I like to cancel my order. I told them if it not available there should not be an order to cancel but it turns out they charge you before checking their stock. So I was charged for a product they did not have and I was not receiving. I am still waiting for my refund!!!!! This looks like the old style "Bait and Switch" practice applied to the Internet. They kept asking me if I would like to order something else. Also the unusually low price get them to pop-up first on many search engines, which increases their possible orders. I highly suggest if you have a complaint that you report it to the "Better Business Bureau" and the " Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs" (coming from a leagal back ground); this will allow them to track the complaints and build a case to force them to change their practices.

Customer service DOES NOT EXIST with Bizchair. The price printed on the web page did not match the price I was charged. I tried to contact customer service to correct the problem. Two days later they contacted me to tell me they corrected the price on their web page but I was not going to be refunded the difference. I told them I would change the order then to a chair that was less expensive. The woman told me she would change my order before shipment. This would have been acceptable to me. I did receive the more expensive chair and never received a credit, a call back, and never even received a confirmation of shipment with tracking number. Rather than try to send the chairs back I informed all members of purchasing that we would no longer use this vendor.

Ok, so I was VERY skeptical about ordering from BizChair.com due to the shakey reviews they recieved on here and a few other places, but after alot of reading I realized that most of the major issues are with the shipping companies and not the seller

I placed an order on January 23 and recieved an email on February 19 letting me know that the order can ship on Monday 2/23. I asked why it took so long and why no one notified me 3 times and I got:
"At the time the order was placed, we initially thought that the order would ship based on the lead time. Susan informed you of the information as stated on the site, which would have put your order shipping on 2-6. Processing took longer than expected and your order was not shipped as stated. Delays do happen and we do apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know how you like to proceed with this. Thank you. " The rep she says she found out about the delay today and no one notified me with no effort to work with the customer. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. |

I ordered a chair from Bizchair and would like to warn you:
1)The package arrived not completely closed and it wasn't the fault of the carrier since the inside box that held some hardware seemed like the chair was opened before and poorly assembled back. 2)The chair (which was one of the expensive models) was not comfortable at all. 4 different people tried it and all said that the back didn't support the back of the person sitting in. It was probably a poor imitation of another chair that looked good only in their picture. I tried to add different pillows to the back and the neck support but it seemed ridicules and didn't help. 3)To return you have to pay shipping fee both ways (even if shipping to your address was free) and restocking fee.- nice! |

WARNING...talk to them they are so nice. but have a problem they have NO customer service skills and could care less about you. I purchased a chair and when it was delivered the finish was so coarse you could scratch yourself just by rubbing over any of the metal surfaces. Called them left on hold for 20 min. several times finaly no response. The prices might be great but you have to have the product to back it up.

I almost purchased some chairs at Bizchair, but I'm the type that always researches the companies they do business with. I generally never find anything that discourages me from my purchase ... but I did today. The Better Business Bureau gives BizChair an F grade, due to so many unresolved compaints against them. I know the price is cheap, but look elswere or you may become the next "unresolved" compaint and victom of this dishonest business.

Item received was not as dispicted on the website. Called and asked for an exchange. They were uncooperative, uncaring, robotlike. No exchange policy, I was told. They told me I would have to return it and since it wasn't defective, I would have to pay delivery and return postage plus a restocking fee of 25%. To return the item is more than half of the total price. One would think in these difficult economic times, a business would care to keep customers instead of rip them off. STEER CLEAR of this company. They WILL NOT take care of the customer.
