I purchased a wide screen TV from Best Buy online. Shortly after it was delivered, I found that there was damage to the front panel. I have been on the phone with customer service 5 times over the past 2 weeks. Each time, after being on hold for about 20 minutes, I am told that someone will contact me in the next 24 to 48 hrs. to arrange an exchange. They never call back. I have asked to speak to a supervisor several times, but they will not connect you to one. I finally resorted to contacting the bank to dispute the charge. Maybe they will have more luck. I will never do business with Best Buy again.

Best Buy had a factory refurbished unit, cost 50% more than the one we bought from CompUSA 2 months ago, but still about 1/3 of a new one, and arrived in time to wrap as Xmas gift.

I ordered online for in-store pickup. Best Buy has competitive prices and a good selection. I arrived at the store to a long line at customer service. My items were not behind the unorganized counter, inventory did not respond to the clerk and the items were pulled from the floor. I will shop BestBuy again, but not for in-store pickup.

I shop with this merchant all the time online until my free shipping expires in 2/2010. I will go back to in-store shopping when that happens. I usually do not have any problems with Best Buy. I am currently a Silver Premiere Rewards Member for spending over $2500 in 2008 on a home theater system and more. The products for this order are pre- ordered and are to be released in early Jauuary.....

The problem is that Best Buy is a large retailer which is lacking where I live. The need to use Best buy is because of necessity and not because of a great shopping experience at Best Buy.
I almost did not get the item purchased as in reading the reviews one person said the product was not equipped as advertised and if that holds true on this item it will be erturned post haste.
As for the product functioning properly, this is a gift ofor someone else and that is yet to be discovered.

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't told that the item was not in stock at the time of purchase. And I couldn't find the status of my order online--it kept telling me that my last name did not match the order number, so I called Best Buy, and the person could not tell me anything. So I went into the store, bought the laptop in the store, but was told at the checkout I could cancel my online order at customer service. But when I got to customer service, they told me they could not cancel an online order unless it was being shipped to the store. everywhere I turned, I ran into an obstacle.

I ordered this item online. The only problem I had with the service was the wait time at the Customer Center where I had to pick up the product. They were understaffed with only one clerk there and the wait was WAY TOO LONG. Once I was waited on the clerk was very pleasant.

I ordered 2 gift cards with 2 different denominations. The gift cards were mailed out to me with no marking as to which card had which dollar amount. I was on the phone with Best Buy customer service for over 20 minutes, only to be told that there was nothing they could do over the phone to tell me the balance of the gift card, other than to scratch off the silver material that covers the i.d. for the card. Since I didn't want to tamper with a gift, I had to go to the store and get the balances. This totally defeated the purpose of ordering online. The customer service rep was very friendly and polite, but the call was a waste of time that I don't need this time of year.

shopping for the product was fine. Getting the right product delivered to the house is a different story. People filling the order should pay more attention to what is ordered and what they ship. I'm missing half of the gift cards that I purchase.
I had to call the best buy twice to get them to send me the 2nd half of my cards. Still didn't receive them.
