In short, the shopping experience with this e-retailer exceeded my expectations. I had read many reviews by other people - former customers - about their endeavours with various known e-stores, before making my decision to buy a fairly expensive item - Canon IS 15x50 binoculars - from BPAV. And I didn't regret the choice from the very first minute of my dealings with them.
First, in contrast to many others, BPAV folks are quite responsive to email inquiries. Second, because there are some issues around selling to Canadian customers, I had to
place the order over the phone and later to give them a follow-up call. Both times the sale guys I talked with were very polite and professional. Thirdly, since I selected shipment via Canada UPS Standard for just $12, I was prepared to wait for at least 7 to 10 business days. One can imagine how astonished I was to get the binoculars delivered to my door in slightly less than 3 days (the order was submitted at about 3pm Monday, got shipped next day and arrived to my place early Thursday afternoon) !! For me, it's been certainly a record breaking shipment / delivery so far.
In summary, with all the positive experience described above and very reasonable goods prices and shipment fees, I'll definitely keep BPAV at the top of my e-retailers list for future shopping needs.
