Order was charged to my card because it would take less than 30 days to receive. After 30 days I called to find out where the fixture was and was told it would be another 3 weeks. At that point I cancelled the order.
The other fixture I ordered from the company came quickly and in perfect condition.

Ordered the Roman Column wine rack on December 1st for a holiday present. Was told it would take 4 -6 weeks for delivery. Inquired about my purchase January 6th and was then notified that the product was discontinued. Now I must begin my search again for a holiday gift. I think Bellacor had plenty of time to notify their customer and did not. Not impressed with their service. Will not shop here again and recommend others don't as well.

there is no tracking information. item states it's available for shipping within 5 business days, but doesn't tell you if it shipped in that time. You have to call customer service to get an update on your order.

Ordering online was easy. One finish of the item that I wanted was back ordered and that was noted on the website. The finish that I did order said that it was available.
It ended up that the finish I ordered was back ordered, but only for a short time. I was told my order would be shipped on a certain date and it was. Order arrived and item was as it appeared on the site. Overall, I am very happy with the order process, delivery, customer service and quality. |

The only correspondence that I recall receiving was to tell me that the order had been received and it would take about 2 weeks to receive. The next thing I knew, within one week, the package was at our front door. It was a happy surprise, but I would have liked to know that the lamp had been shipped so I could track it and be sure which day it would be left on my doorstep. Everything was fine -- I was happy to receive it earlier than expected, but I think more follow-up correspondence would have been nice and would have improved the overall rating.

Overall good experience. However, some screws needed to assemble the lamp were not included. Also, in the picture on their website it appears that the glass lamp shade is round, but that is only from the front - from the side it is boat shaped. However, as it turns out, this is fine with us. I don't think the shape of the shade was mentioned in the description on their website and I think it should be.

The ordering experience was great. I ordered the product in time for Christmas delivery, according to info. on the site. However, I received an email a few days later that the product is on backorder till February! Also, my credit card has already been charged for part of the order, even though I have not yet received the item and may not have it for two months. Since I didn't have the item in time to give it as a Christmas gift as planned, I may decide I don't want to wait till February for it. I just hope I can get a refund for the amount they have already charged me. Anyway, this experience has made me not want to do business with them in the future. It seems to be more trouble than it's worth.

My order came on time as promised. I thought the prices were good compared to others, and free shipping sealed the deal. I thought their site was very easy to find stuff on. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for lamps.

Bellacor has terrible service in general. Their representative will tell you lies just to get rid of you. I place an order 10/9/04 which I'm still waiting for to be delivered. I have e-mailed several times hoping they would reply with an update to my order and I'm still waiting. I spoke to a representative almost 2 weeks ago and he told me the lamp had been shipped the previous day and that I would be receiving it with in 3 to 5 days. Today I called again and another representative told me they just received the lamp from the factory and they will be shipping it tomorrow. She wasn't even able to provide me with a tracking number for my order. This is the first and last time I will shop from their on-line store and I will advise everyone I know not to buy from them.

I placed an order on 8/14/04 for two bathroom light fixtures; and, then requested the order be cancelled the same day (via an email reply to my digital receipt and a voice message left on the customer service phone number outlined on their website). I asked for confirmation of this cancellation, but then left for vacaction. Not only did I return to find no cancellation confirmation, but the product was sitting on my doorstep.
I have since emailed and asked for an RMA number, and requested they pay for shipping and that I am NOT charged a restocking fee. No info yet. (By the way, the order was placed on a Saturday -- and cancelled the same day. Their phone message stated they were closed on the weekend, so there's no reason the order should have been processed prior to the cancellation request!) |

Don't be taken in by the free shipping & their claims of great customer service!! I purchased a lamp from them which took a month to be delivered (even though they advertise it would be shipped within 2 business days, then sent email confirmation it would be 2-4 weeks before it would be shipped), and now I would like to return it. Although I've sent two emails to & left one voicemail with Bellacor to request a return authorization, I still have received no acknowledgement of my contacts. I certainly won't do business with them again and will advise all my online-shopping friends to do the same!
