The package was never received because it was damaged during shippment.  After more that 2 weeks and talking to 4 different representatives, the package has not left the store.  I will never use this store again.  I don't mind a problem or two but don't appreciate their unwillingness to fix the problem.

I recently ordered a Pentax digital SLR camera and two lenses at the online store. Four lens filters and a memory card were ordered, also. I called the customer service number a couple days later to check on the order. Only two items were in stock online and I wanted to make sure I got one. The representative was helpful and confirmed the order number and ship-to address. She indicated the items were shipping the next day. Everything arrived on the prescribed day and they were in fine shape. It was a pleasant experience for my first order from Beach Camera. I have them on my favorites list on the computer and will be checking them when I am in search of another item.

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with Beach Camera. Even though I did not receive the camera on the exact date promised (because my ship date happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend) they still sent the camera expedited shipping and credited my account for the shipping charges. The camera came in time for our vacation and was everything I had expected!

I am a third time buyer of cameras from these folks (the first two were digital cameras, this time I purchased an HD video camera).  They were very price competitive and offered no shipping or handling charges as well as no state tax (no hidden fees or charges).  I always order by phone and the representative was thorough, professional, pleasant, and provided the opportunity for additional purchases if I wanted them, without ANY pressure.  Although I ordered my camera standard ground shipping, it arrived the next business day.  My experiences with Beach Camera are consistant every time and well worth your consideration for purchasing.  I went back because of the pricing and they have always treated me right, and I will be back for the same reasons for future purchases.

I had researched several models of digital cameras.  I found that Beach camera not only had a large selection, but the best prices.  Other merchants online we charging anywhere from 20-50% more than Beach Camera.  Before I made the order I called Beach Camera to ask several questions & found customer service to be extremely helpful.  Once the product shipped (which was the day after my order) I had my new camera within 2 days. I would definitely shop at Beach Camera again & have already begun to recommend them to friends & family members.

This is the first time I used Beachcamera.com and honestly, was hesitant at first. I ordered my ipod very easily online, shipped the next day, and received it 4 days later. Cannot register using a current macintosh computer and safari browser.  After selecting an item and placing an order, the shipping address was deleted but the order went through.  So I have an order number, but noplace to ship.  Tried three times to edit shipping address online, but to no avail. Limited phone support hours available. Still awaiting resolution: somehow this ends up being a fault of my computer/firewall/etc, even though the credit card info went through fine, and only the address was deleted...
Stick to the phone if you are going to order from Beach.
Update: a call on Tuesday at 9:40 am est receives a recording saying it is not during normal business hours, even though it is during their published hours.  
Another update: by phone Beach was able to associate an address with my order, but could not associate it with  an online account. Their advice is to just order over the phone.

I ordered a Canon camera from Beach through Amazon.  When I didn't receive a shipping notice I followed up with them on a Thursday.  Customer service told me they would ship it that day and I would have it on Friday.  When it didn't arrive, I sent an e-mail.  On that Sunday night, I was asked if I would take the camera in silver, rather than black, which would be overnighted on Monday.  I agreed to this and on Monday morning received a cancellation from Amazon.  I called Customer Service at Beach and all I got was "Sorry, we're out of stock.  We don't know who told you this would be shipped."  Did I mention that the Monday I am referring to is Monday before Xmas?  The people in customer service are either liars or incompetent - either way I would never do business with them again.

Fabulous experience.  Read many horror stories relating to the purchase of DSLR cameras from many on-line vendors.  My experience with Beach Camera was as good as it gets.  Price was the most legitimately competitive, and my order was processed within 24 hrs. (No "order verification" phone calls), and even with the free shipping option I received my package one day later.  One missing accessory was shipped separately, but this was done without my needing to call.  I highly recommend Beach Camera!

I recently purchased a 42in. LCD TV online on 12/03/08. The TV was shipped on 12/08/08 and delivery will be 12/18/08, JEEEZ I sent a email wanting to know if they use horse and wagons to deliver with and I got NO Response. I tracked the order and it has arrived 50 miles from my house on 12/12/08 and I Have to wait six days until it gets here. The poorest delivery speed I have ever seen.

Excellent service. Ordered Sony Handycam SR12 at great price on Nov 19, paid $4 for delivery, and go it the next day, Nov 20 via Fedex!!

Product was exactly what I ordered. I was concerned about performance because the online prices varied from $550 to $1,300 for this camera. Beach was not the lowest, but everyone below them had multiple delivery and sales-related problems. Beach Camera showed none of those problems online, so I chose them and am not sorry.

I bought a TV on thier site. It was $100 less than Best Buy, plus free shipping. At check out, the free shipping was listed as 7-9 business days. I received the TV in 2. Very impressive. I typically shop at other sites but these guys are winning me over. I would buy from them again.

I ordered a TV that they listed as "in stock". A few days later I got an email saying the TV was on back order. Yesterday, a week after the original order, they cancelled my order.

I believe they violate one of the cardinal rules of online commerce when they list items as "in stock" when they are not.

I've shopped with them in the past but I won't any longer.

Bought Camera from web site.  Easy transaction. Free shipping took ten business days to get to my house. Received broken camera. Had to fight to not pay shipping to return the broken camera. Took them five days before Fed Ex picked up. They did not let me know when they received the returned camera. I called today to find out the status.  They have had the broken camera for one week and I found out that the new camera is on back order.  I do not know when to expect my new camera.  Terrible communication. Once they have your money they do not care. It has been one month since I purchased camera and have nothing to show for it except a thinner wallet!!

I was already happy with Beach Camera's prices and prompt delivery but now I can add excellent customer service to that list. I received two different dvd players that had problems (fault of the manufacturer, not beach camera - boxes were factory fresh). Isaac in customer service was a pleasure to speak to - patient, courteous and professional. He was easy to reach, with little or no hold time, and went out of his way to resolve the situation. Beach Camera sucks as far as I know. I ordered a hard drive at Amazon from Beach.
I placed an order that needed to be cancelled (due to wrong address info) and they said they would cancel it. I place another order for the same item right away, and they didn't confirm or respond. 
I had to write them asking why they didn't cancel my order and why they didn't confirm my new order, and they said they were out of the item that it would be a few days. 
Then, they wrote and said the items was cancelled and they would need to cancel the order.
Guess what? They didn't cancel that order, either.
What idiots.
I ordered from JVC and got service right away. Yay.
I guess I can't give Beach a bad review if they never complete the order, so this is the result of their very poor customer service.

Amazing I have never seen such a fast shipment. Ordered around 6:00PM  Wednesday and Fedex attempted delivery the next day at 8:30AM. I live in Maine. Thanks Beach Camera I'm impressed.

I needed a new usb hub. I checked with several of my usual places TigerDirect and Amazon. TigerDirect had the best price but shipping and tax offset the mail-in rebate. At Amazon I was directed to Beach Camera where the price was slightly higher but with free shipping it was almost the same as TigerDirect's after rebate price. I chose Beach as t here would be no mail-in rebate hassle.

What a hassle! It's great this company is for verifying credit cards, but to take a week doing it is ridiculous. I eventually had to scan my credit card, and license for their company. When I did, no one contacted me back. Every time I called, I was put on hold for a half an hour every time. I told them to make me a priority and ship my item or I was cancelling my order. They let me cancel my order ( a $2600 purchase), which tells me they could careless about their customers. I was upset to tears on their phone with one of their reps, desperate to receive my camera and I didn't receive one ounce of sympathy. That's the truth! Needless to say, things happen for a reason. I went to a different site and got my camera quicker and at a far better price. Check out Abes of Maine. Nicole is VERY helpful and pleasant to speak with. They are FAR superior in customer service than this terrible company. They really should be put out of business.

Concise, "easy to find item" website. Item descriptives fully explained...only problem is that every other time I went to re-check the availability / current pricing of HDTV (took at least a month to decide to purchase from Beach Camera), the inlay picture of unit was out-of-wack sometimes >>> no "graphics" shown. Just a thought, maybe better pictures to visualize down-the-road for products of these item types for clarity. Otherwise, excellent price offered, good shipping & receiving process, and very pleased with e-mail updates & commiques...THANKS!
