Shopping for a Sony Bravia 32" flatscreen, Beach Camera had the best price around. This was my first purchase from them and I liked the fact that they show their address and telephone right on their website--makes me confident that I'm dealing with a real business that I can reach in case something goes amiss. Actually, I called my order in. The gent who took my order was cordial, answered a few brief questions about delivery, promised 3-5 days delivery (which was fine with me), took my credit card number. I chose the most economical shipping method. The confirmation came by email within minutes along with a tracking number for the shipment. That night, I was flabbergasted to note that Fedex was delivering next day. Beach Camera is in N.J. and I'm 120 miles away in PA. This is a big, heavy carton that was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. Less than 24 hours from order to actually watching a (great!) picture. In my mind, a perfect transaction. By the way the set is a fabulous addition to our household. This Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR6 is in a family of Sony HDTVs with a feature I appreciate so much: There's an onscreen "TV Guide" channel that's reached by pressing the "GUIDE" button on the remote. This brings up a full-screen listing (except for a tiny image of the channel you're watching at the moment) of all the channels available to your set. You can cursor through 24 hours of listings. The set is not connected to a box. The tv guide takes about 24 hours to download the first time, and then updates automatically. We have the set mounted on the wall in a corner of the bedroom. Great sound, great picture and there are many ajuustments to picture quality, sound quality, picture size, etc. that are easy to make. I'd go with Beach again.
