I never right reviews, but felt I should since I saw some very negative ones for this store, and I have had a great experience with them! I ordered a dress for my stepson's wedding. When ordering online, I used a coupon for 20% off. The day after I ordered, I changed my mind about the color, and emailed the customer service dept to switch colors. I received a response in less than 24 hrs stating they had made the color change for me! After getting my confirmation email that my order had shipped, I saw that they didn't apply the coupon, probably because I had them switch the dress color, so I emailed customer service again. I received an email in less than 24 hrs apologizing for the error, and that they had credited my account. The credit was posted to my account the next day!
I received the dress today (Taffeta Shirtdress from the outlet), and it is absolutely beautiful and in the right color! Can't wait to try it on! |

This is a great store. They deliver within a week or less, I've never had to return anything, and if you need to speak with them, they're always helpful.So the customer service is good! I would highly recommend the store.

Ordered two dresses. Neither fit in the bust line. I returned the next day. I traced the return found it to be delivered and waited to see my account credited. I called 3-4 days after receipt and was told I needed my tracking number. Since I could not find it, I was told I was out of luck. I told the CSR I used their return label, but she still told me I needed the tracking number.
I did call back today 7/1. Items have still not been credited and I have to pay $6.95 because I used their label for return. If I exchanged the dresses it would have been free. A smaller size will not fit. I spoke with a supervisor who told me I should have taken the dresses to a post office and not have used their label. So $6.95 was charged to try on two dresses. |

I have just experienced lousy customer service with Barrie Pace. The really bad part is that I have experienced bad service before, and I was dumb enough to try again. They frequently advertise merchandise as available on their site and pay other companies, eg., Dealtime, to advertise and link to their site, and indicate certain products are available when indeed they are not. I ordered a dress on 10/4 for a 11/5 black time party. I was told it was on backorder and would ship on 10/24. It is now 10/29, and AFTER I INQUIRED, I have been informed today that the dress will not be available from the manufacturer until after 11/5. It isn't available in any of the colors . . . makes me think it was never available in any color, so now I get to spend the coming days trying to come up with another dress for a special occasion.

Received Fall catalogue on September 21, attempted to order an item online from 'new' Fall catalogue, and was unable to find item online. Contacted customer service and was informed that the item I wished to order was sold out.
Seems strange that 'new' catalogue was received and already items are sold out the very next day????? |
