LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE I BELIEVE THEY ARE NO LONGER OPERATIONAL
I ordered a Phil & Teds double stroller cover from bare babies two months ago (Aug 24th) Although they charged my credit card straight away the cover never materialised. When I emailed them (Sept 15th)and questioned this I was advised that the shipment of Phil & Ted's merchandise they were getting in that week only had strollers on it and that they should be getting the accessory shipment by the end of the next week and then be able to fill my order.
I was also told that it was unfortunate that they had to charge the cards when the order was placed. However they actually had people that would use a bad card and then get their items for free. Whilst I could understand this to a point I found it frustrating as the website showed the product was in stock and would ship within two weeks - yet here I discovered it was not in stock.
Why would you charge for a product that you don't even have available for the customer?
Waiting once more with no product in sight I emailed customer service again yet (Oct 15th) but never received a response. Yesterday (Oct 20th) in an attempt to make contact once more I phoned but both the phone lines are disconnected. When I email it gets returned to me and it would seem that their site is no longer operational.
I beleive that the company must have gone out of business but I am unsure as to how to confirm this or on how to get my money back.
If anyone knows anything more it would be much appreciated.
