 I like Ballard Designs products and have many of these items in my home. Thanks for always being current without being so trendy that my furnishings would feel outdated quickly. My favorite piece continues to be the tall curved black cabinet that I placed in my breakfast room. I have filled it with some of my better china and crystal. It seamlessly blends casual breakfast items with the more formal evening dinner pieces. Thanks to them for years of very nice home furnishings

I recommend never using this website. Nothing they have is worth the hassle I went through. I was shipped the wrong order twice by the vendor and two months later I still do not have a comforter for my bed. One of the customer service reps I talked to was extremely rude and I still have the wrong comforter in my closet as I am waiting for the vendor to issue a UPS label so I can drive it across town to be returned yet again. I finally cancelled my order because Ballard Designs was not able to confirm an item # with their vendor one week later after I received the wrong item for the second time. Even if they were able to confirm the item # today, which they could not guarantee, I would still have to wait a potential 4 - 6 weeks LONGER to get the correct comforter.

I discovered Ballard Designs catalog back in 2003 when I got my first apartment. I have ordered various items from them ,small items to big ones (upholstered bed), through the past 5 years and whenever I receive the products, I'm always satisfied and happy. Whenever I look at my Louisa bed, I say to myself I did a good job in choosing it, quality and price-wise.

I wanted to order a painting that cost $249.95 and I had a coupon that was $50 off of your $250.00 or more purchase and they wouldn't honor it. They would rather lose a customer over five pennies. I tried to contact a Manager via e-mail and no-one contacted me after a week so I had to re-contact them. It took 2 weeks total for a Manager to get back to me and all he said was that they couldn't honor the coupon. Meanwhile, I noticed on their website that they had a sale going on that was 20% off of your $200 or more purchase. The Manager didn't bother to tell me about that offer. Ballard Designs is nutty! I told my family and friends about their poor customer service and no-one could believe it. They all said they won't ever order from this company.

I bought a night stand and the door hinge was not attached. I sent it back. Then I thought I'd try them again and I ordered a console. It arrived on a rainy day and the packaging was completely wet and the console was completely smashed in. These problems might have been the fault of UPS, but why was this furniture not packed better? This company is a pretty catalog and wish list, but when it comes to delivering the products they can really break down. I'm afraid to order from this company.

DO NOT BUY MERCHANDISE FROM BALLARD DESIGNS! THEY ARE AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL.

It's no wonder why their company is having so many problems: their service is awful, their practices are unscrupulous, and their merchandise is just so-so. Just stay away from these people.

Online order history accurately showed what I had ordered. Ballard Designs, however, did not have a record of at least one of the items that had been ordered. Customer Service did not respond in a timely fashion. They have not looked into the matter, which makes me wonder if this was some kind of fluke accident or if it might happen again if I choose to place another order.
