This could possibly be one of the WORST online experiences I have encountered.
I placed an order for a new stroller from babyride.com. After I placed it, I happened to come across a bizrate.com survey and read some of the reviews of babyride.com. I was shocked to find the horrible comments. This made me call customer service the next day (to find out how long my item would ship since that was a main concern of the reviews) and canceled my order since it would take 1 1/2 weeks just to ship, which I was never told during the ordering process! IT GETS MUCH WORSE.... They didn't credit my account for at least 2 weeks after canceling the order. That was after I called and emailed 5 times! Finally, they credited my account. For the full amount??? NO! They took a 10% "restocking fee" when my item wasn't even pulled from stock! I have a letter out to the customer service right now asking them to reimburse my 10%. Horrible, horrible service - do not shop here. |

Trying to get my money back from Babyride is my new part time job. I bought my item, was charged on credit card, and was then informed it was out of stock and they were canceling my order. That was January. They have not refunded my credit card and do not respond to email, do not answer phone or return messages left. Now I am disputing with credit card. Do not shop with them!

I ordered a kids "Berchet" dream kitchen set for my son for Christmas 2005. It arrived damaged and after notifying Babyride they told me to contact the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they do not handle such matters. I then contaced Babyride again and it took them over 2 weeks to respond. They claimed that because I signed for the product upon delivery that they can accept no fault. I would have been happy with an exchange or even a prompt and courteous reply. During this whole terrible ordeal, I was only able to actually speak to a customer service representative from Babyride once. All other communication was by email or leaving messages on their answering machine. That should have been clue number one that this company is not working on the up and up. I will never shop here again!

I ordered a Kettler Safari GT pedal car on November the 16th by phone. I was told that the the item was in stock and would ship same day and that I would receive it in 10 business days. Two weeks later I haven't received the item, nor have I heard anything from Babyride. The charges however had already hit my credit card bill. I called customer service where I was told that the item was on backorder until January 2006. When I asked when they were going to contact me with this information I was given no answer. They had already received their cash and that was the important part of the sale for them. I would never order or recommend Babyride.com to anyone.

I have NEVER had such terrible customer service. I ordered a jogging stroller and a handle bar console. The console was sent immediately, but I had to call back a few weeks later to find out about the rest of my order. As an afterthought they said - oh yeah, it's on backorder for a few months. So fast forward til now - 1 1/2 months later. I have called close to 10 times and still my credit card has not been refunded for the $200 plus I paid them. I even got an email confirmation of my cancellation. Then today I get an email saying my stroller has been shipped to me. Well, I already bought it a month ago from someone else so I don't want it. Guess what, I have to wait until it gets here, refuse the shipment, then wait until it gets back to them before they'll refund me. All this hassle and they're the ones that screwed up. Don't waste your time with them. You can buy the same stroller for the same price and get much better service elsewhere.

I had to call to find out why the stroller was never shipped. The person on the phone told me that they were out of it, but they would substitute the next model up for the same price. I received the stroller within a few days of making the phone call. Not sure how long it would have taken if I had waited on a response from BabyRide to contact me to tell me that they were out of the original stroller.

I was a little disappointed at the promptness of the customer service. I had requested a tracking number by telephone, and was told that the manufacturer had lost the order. It then took several more days to finally receive a tracking number. I felt the professionalism of the customer service could've been better.

The only delays that I experienced were due to the manufacturer changing the product. I still have yet to recieve my stroller and the shield. However, Babyride has made every effort to work the situation to my satisfaction. This is a great company that offers TOP quality products at a fantastic, unbeatable price! I will remember them if I am ever in the market for these items again in the future.

I felt that the merchant was not forthright in giving me information about the status of my purchase. I took 9 days to find out that one item was back ordered. They failed to mention that another item was back ordered. They finally got back to me and then called again to tell me that the information given was not correct. This may be the result of a poor relationship with the item's distributor. In the end I ordered the item from another online merchant.

When we ordered the double stroller, we were told the item was in stock and would be shipped quickly. Then we received an email saying it was going to take 3 to 4 weeks. It never came. When we finally contacted BabyRide, we were told that they didn't have that stroller anymore. We never received any explanation and no follow up happened. They never contacted us at all, even to tell us that it was unavailable. Now we have to start all over and have no stroller and we need it. This is the absolute worst service we have had over the internet.

The information they provided on their website has turned out to be misleading: they promised to deliver both a carrycot and a stroller, but I received just the stroller alone (the price was higher than on other websites for this stroller, but since they also offered a carrycot, I decided to order it). After I contacted them with this matter, they almost refused to solve the problem (well, they "kindly" offered me to buy a carrycot separate for additional $120). Finally, after a several weeks of phone calls and e-mails, they refunded me $20 for the inconvenience. What a joke!
Customer service representatives were not nice on the phone, but their manager was simply rude with me. Would never buy from them again! |

This was a very nice shopping experience and the customer service rep was very helpful. I ordered a Bertini stroller which was supposed to come with a free raincover and bunting but the stroller arrived from the manufacturer without the accessories. They contacted Bertini for me and it turns out the accessories were on backorder so the discounted the price for me as an apology.
