Buyer be beware: Babycenter.com does not accept gift cards (AmEx, etc) but they will process the transaction. Meaning a debit will go through but no order will be placed.

I tried to buy two nursing bras and the first time the transaction did not go through because of repeated server/system errors. The second and third time I tried to put through a transaction with the gift card (there is NO language on their website saying they don't accept gift cards) I got error messages, but still charged $120 total.

This then resulted in calling them on the phone being put on hold for five minutes, and having to place an order for the fourth time.

honestly not worth the 10% I saved.

The crib and dresser/changing table i registered for at babiesrus became unavailable so i googled them to see where else they were sold. I came across babycenter.com through the search and found exactly what i was looking for. Even better, their prices were wonderful! Before ordering, I went on this review site to see what other users had to say about their experience with babycenter. Mixed reviews were what i came across so i decided go ahead and try it out anyway. It was simple and upon ordering, I took advantage of their additional 15% discount! My experience was superb!! I did call customer service once to get an update on the shipping and i talked with the most pleasant employee. I regret that i did not get her name to commend her in my review. The furniture was ordered on a friday; they arrived the following friday. Overall I am completely satisfied with my experience with this web site.

I've always had great service from Baby Center. Once, I did not receive an order (later to find out it was the P.O. fault, not Baby Center) and they resent the order 2 day shipping w/o charging shipping and w/o any hassles. Customer service was very friendly. My orders have always been delivered timely and there's a great selection of items I cannot find elsewhere!

I ordered stuff for my daughters 1st birthday and they billed me twice and I am fighting tooth and nail to get my money back. The customer service is horrid and the managers are really rude. I called several times and had different answers from every one that I spoke to I guess they don't have any type of protocol and the manager MATTHEW refused to give me his full name so that I could complain about him he said it would be 30 days before I could have my money back. It certainly didn't take 30 days to take double the money that I orginally authorized. overall satisfaction is a negative and I would advise every one to avoid shopping here. I filed a complaint with the BBB and am waiting for the outcome but I won't be satisfied until MATTHEW no longer has a job.

I ordered 6 items to be for Christmas gifts. 4 days later I get an email saying that 3 out of the six items are not available and they were canceling them from the order. FOUR DAYS LATER! So the items were ordered the morning of December 3rd, and they just shipped yesterday! I called and the customer service lady said that the items would be available to order again soon. They seem to have a difficult time updating everything from there stock to informing customers and shipping times! I will NEVER go back!!! Amazon is my place to stick!

I tried to buy a graco platinum cargo booster seat, which they advertised to be on sale but when tried to check out they added a $15 handling fee. I tried other non-sale car seats, they were not adding the handling fee for them. Called customer support, the lady agreed with my finding but said she can't help me. So much for the sale...huh...I would say be aware of hidden fees on their sale items...

I am quite pleased with the customer service at Baby Center. The first time I called them was because I had bought a breast pump that went on sale two weeks later. They refunded me the difference without even batting an eye. The second time I dealt with them was over a Halloween costume. It was rated for a 0-6 month baby that was between 7-15lbs and 20-25". My 2 month old is nearly 13lbs and 23" and the costume was about twice his size. I called them just to inform them of the discrepancy in what they stated on their website and the actuality of the costume. Without even having to ask they credited back the cost of the costume and told me just to keep it. They said that I could give it away or do whatever I would like to with the costume. They were very apologetic as well.

I purchased a Britax Regent car seat -- very hard to find at most online and traditional retail stores. Baby Center store shipped this product and I had it in home less than three days after I ordered it. Fabulous experience. Will buy from again!

I have ordered from Babycenter probably a dozen times in the past four years. The majority of my experiences were top-notch - however, 3 times there were problems with my orders. I was upset when they cancelled a portion of my order once (a baby gift) without telling me about it. The item was out of stock. They also add sales tax without telling you about it on the site. I give them 3/5 stars, because of these problems. The clothing/items I have ordered from them have all been great quality. You can get great deals with coupon codes, when they are offered, plus free shipping deals that are offered at various times.

I've ordered all different types of baby items from this site. A few things I ordered didn't fit, and when I called to make sure I could return them...that's when i fell in love with this site: you can return anything, any time, for any reason! They usually have the best prices, plus great coupons. Sometimes if you just wait a few days or so, a free shipping after spending just a $29- purchase comes a long. Make sure you check the back of your packing slip/return label: i almost didn't see the $10- off $49- or more coupons that are there sometimes! They have a great selection of any items I've ever been looking for.

I will never order anything on Baby Center again. I often order things on the Internet. I've never had such bad experience. It¡¯s been 11 days since I ordered, but it is not here yet. I ordered from Baby Center because its on line rating was high. I don¡¯t know how the sortation centers are operated. According to the FedEx tracking system, the item was sent out from the same sortation center twice in 7 days. If the delay is FedEx¡¯s problem, then Baby Center shouldn't use FedEx. I am very disappointed as a first time customer.

I've ordered from babycenter.com about 5 times and have always received my order quickly, and correctly. They quickly issue credit. They are wonderful to deal with. There is also wonderful information on the site for expectant moms and moms. This place is great.

First of all, I requested 2 day shipping, which was supposed to be a $16.90 charge. They instead charged my credit card $22.90. The woman on the phone could not give an explanation. Then they sent me a tracking number, but never sent the package. UPS never received it. 4 days later, still no toy and they offer to ship it again, but would not refund the extra I paid for UPS 2 day. Either incompetent, or a con job.

This is hands down, the best online store I have ever shopped at. Not only is their shipping very fast, but they also have a great selection of merchandise, and customer service people that actually CARE about their customers.

I purchased a Little Tikes Patrol Car from Baby Center, and received it within 3 days of ordering it. Today when I arrived home from work, there was another Patrol Car on my porch. I called Baby Center to tell them of the error. A very nice man took my information, spoke to his supervisor after making sure I had only been charged for one car, and asked me if I could donate the extra car to charity rather than ship it back to them. What a great company. I will make sure I tell all my friends about this. I was really moved by that.

I am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience at Baby Center. I found the EXACT stroller I was looking for . . . most websites (including Babies"R"Us!) did not have it because it is a new model. Out of the few websites that actually did have it, Baby Center's total price was the cheapest because of free shipping . . . so I decided to order it from them. The NEXT day I get an e-mail informing me it had been shipped. And the VERY NEXT day after that it arrived at my front door!! UNBEATABLE!!!

This is one of the best on-line shops and information resources around. I visit their site regularly and have ordered much of my babies' gear from here. The site is well laid out and easy to navigate, shipping estimates have always been correct, costs are reasonable and I have never had a problem with any item ordered. Their information resources, lists and comments from other site users are very helpful.

I had searched the internet for the Evenflo Take Me Too! Premier Tandem Stroller and only two places had it: Baby Center and I think Baby Age. I read the reviews on this site about the two places, and was a little apprehensive about ordering from them. But I chose Baby Center and had my mom order it for me. I was delighted when the double stroller was delivered about 6 or 7 days later. I thought it would've taken longer than normal because of its size. So overall it was a good experience.

I would NEVER order from these people again. I ordered a crib over 20 days ago that was in stock and was just told that my order will not be filled because the crib is now out of stock. I have called several times to confirm the crib will be shipped and was told that it would until today. I was also told that there is no way they can notify a buyer of an order being canceled because they don't know who orders what. I would not recommend to anyone. I ordered from Baby Center because it was rated high, but the service to me is completely disappointing.

I would not order from them again! I ordered a stroller and it took them 3 days to notify me that my ordered was canceled because the item turned out to be out of stock even though it was listed on the website as being in stock. This was my first and last time I will order from them. There are plenty of other baby sites out there that provide better and more efficient customer service like Baby Universe.
