I ordered two items on my first attempt, paid for them, got an e-mail 30 minutes later saying they had to cancel one of my items-turned out to be out of stock. Well it wasn't when I ordered. So I called and ordered something similar, made sure it was in stock, they did right by me and still gave me my 10% off and free shipping (minus the oversize fee) and 45 minutes later I got an e-mail cancelling that one because it too was out of stock. When I called back they said that the on-line catalog takes a while to update and that was why it showed in stock when it was already sold out. (I quickly ordered the item from KB toys and they assured me it was in stock.) It wasn't the people at customer services fault this happened. They were GREAT! Whoever does the programming between the actual on-line catalog and the warehouse needs to upgrade their system to make it reflect what is actually in the warehouse and what is already sold out! I recommend that they subtract the items once in someone's cart, and if they don't follow through with the order, then add it back to the in-stock column. I would recommend this company, if for nothing else, because the customer service was VERY apologetic, and I understand that around Christmas time it will be VERY busy. If this had happened mid summer, then I wouldn't be so understanding!I hate that the kids will get their presents on different days, that makes for trouble when they think Aunt Beverly thinks more highly of one than the other. Hopefully since they are all ordered (although from different companies) they will be delivered on the same day! But as I said- other than being cancelled, twice, the experience was good. (Michelle was a great customer service manager btw)!
