We ordered a Peg Perego Primo Viaggio infant car seat from the site and it had to be one of the most pleasant experiences I ever had. Originally, we ordered the same exact car seat from thebabyoutlet.com and that turned out to be a nightmare of an order (terrible customer service, not in stock when website said that it was in stock, no alerts or communication from the etailer, etc). So, I again searched the internet and found the baby center to be the only place that had it in stock. I called and spoke to a pleasant CSR who told me that it was in stock. I told her my situation where I was told that before and I wanted to make sure that she definitely had it in stock. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back with additional info. She told me that while I was on hold, she checked with other CSRs to see if there were other cases like this and to see if the baby center was ever incorrect on an order. She also told me that she placed a call to Peg Perego (where the item would be shipped from directly) to ensure that there was inventory for my shippment. She told me that she double checked and that the item was in stock and should be shipping in 3-8 business days. I was still skeptical, but placed the order anyway, giving the CSR the benefit of the doubt because she had been so nice.
I checked the order status every day to see if it changed. On the third day, I checked again, and it showed it as the same status "We are packing your shipment". So, I waited until later in the afternoon and was planning on calling them to check the status...and before I could find their number, I received an email from them stating that the car seat had shipped! Incredibly, they even gave me a tracking number so I knew it wasn't a lie!!!
Absolutely love the customer service, the prompt responses, and the communication of this store. I would recommend shopping here to anyone.
